Welcome back. Last time we did a heroine that was a part timer too. Now it’s time to pull the Portable Dimension Hopper and continue visiting girls from magical worlds.

Body

Hair
Aqua has light blue hair. Guess with her name and her status as a water goddess light blue hair was unavoidable. Amusingly this is a thing too in-universe since people mention she has the same hair color the goddess does, and even gets her in the second season a lynch mob calling her a sham and other mean things. That aside her hair isn’t too bad, reaches her ass but doesn’t cover the cheeks thankfully and has nice sidebangs. Her regular bangs are generic though. And of course we can’t go without covering her “charm point” meaning that weird nine-shaped ponytail than allows for particularly standing out. While nothing special it looks cute, and sometimes we see her with her hair down anyway for balance. Also I swear there was another blue hair and clothes idiot with manipulation over H20 and affinity with the number nine, but damned if I remember the one. Jokes aside her hair is unique and cool, but I still prefer darker hair colors sadly.

Eyes
Aqua has light blue eyes. Like with her hair it was unavoidable, but that doesn’t make light blue eyes any better. Thankfully matching her hair and clothes helps, and being tsurime never hurts either for obvious reasons. Kinda wish she wore glasses though, that would help. Still not too bad.

Build
Aqua does well here. Despite MAL claiming the opposite she lacks measurements, which kinda sucks. The closest is how she’s always about Kazuma’s height and his mighty 165cm which kinda sucks for that is short for a guy but slightly over the ideal for girls. Not a huge deal still. She also has notable breasts, but thankfully in the series proper she gets little to no fanservice and only official art has some minor stuff. Otherwise no real issues, since she has nice legs and a flat stomach and looks fairly nice overall.

Butt
Aqua has a holey ass. Jokes aside this is her best trait easily. Thanks to her commando antics her sexy ass is shown often, and she became very popular among fans for that. She could use more praise and official art, but aside from that ass girls are rare and Aqua is like the best one from the current series, which makes her most positive. Worship ASSis today folks!

Clothes
Aqua has a nice wardrobe. Her default clothes are cute and very goddess-like with the hagoromo and the detached sleeves and the absolute territory and everything. She also lacks panties for the anime and that is incredibly awesome, for bizarrely anime can’t show pantyshots but can show skirt buttshots. Makes no sense for me either but I won’t complain for extra ass. Besides that there are the other various costumes, and while there aren’t many she still has a few nice ones. The best is obviously the maid costume from the second season, but the fact her pajamas are blue just like her usual and cute clothes deserves mention. She makes Carpainter proud for sure. Overall not too bad, more girls should go commando and rebel against panties.

Mind

Personality
Aqua does well here. She was originally the goddess that would audition deceased people to send them to a fantasy world where they’d become heroes. But when Kazuma the main guy decided the one thing he wanted was Aqua herself the girl was dragged with him into the fantasy world. She begrudgingly formed a party with Kazuma and alongside Megumin the chuunibyou that loves lots explosions and Darkness the cartoon masochist they fight to get riches and maybe get rid of the demon king too. Amusingly despite their poor start Aqua and friends have been killing top baddies consistently and got themselves a nice mansion, where they reside when not doing missions.

The personality is good too. Aqua is a huge idiot sadly, and while “idiot” broadly defines the whole main cast Aqua is probably the dumbest of the team. Though thankfully she’s the amusing dumb type and has nice silly moments. She also loves spiritual drinks meaning alcohol, probably because she’s the only adult in the team. She bickers often with Kazuma but in the funny way and deals decently with her other partners. Her class is Archpriest and she can use water powers, heal serious wounds, raise the dead, and banish the undead. However she prefers learning party tricks for whatever reason, probably because she started strong and thus doesn’t take this seriously. She also turns liquids into water. Overall Aqua while not my favorite girl she was solid and likable.

Reception
Aqua is popular but not too much. Actually this show gets my favorites just right, with Megumin being the most popular and Darkness the least with Aqua in middle but closer to the chuunibyou than with the masochist. Definitely beats other series I could name where awesome girls are dropped into the HFIL while jerks are worshipped. Aqua also has good screentime without being overbearing hence that helps. Really the only issue is she’s not my favorite from the series.

Libido
Aqua has issues here. She feels like Kazuma’s eventual couple for sure, but the problem is they bicker too much. Funny bickering sure, but I dislike bickering couples. Otherwise she does merely okay here though her nopan goodness does help.

Age
Aqua is a goddess and therefore is beneath those things or at least really old. That makes her score rather nice. Shame she’s rather sensitive about her age since mature ladies are wonderful too.

Sora Amamiya is good and sounds funny, but doesn’t stand out as much as others would. Nothing bad either.

You would score better if you had her hair and eyes. But seriously it’s fairly close, since both of you are great girls.

And for a male lead Kazuma isn’t too bad either. Seems Darkness took one for the team and hogged all the suck.
