Tears and Rain, A cold wind remains
I walk down that dirt road,
I see forever, I dream of forever,
It haunts my soul...
I pass down the road,
I pass the homes of my dreams
Blackened and Hollow they are
Burt and left by the road side...
I remeber watching them burn,
I felt the flames lick my face,
I felt the storm of my heart rain,
I felt that pain.....
Hollow and Alone the cold breeze
has been blowing,
If I shivered anymore I
feared my heart would be broken..
I remeber those lonely nights,
Standing on the road,
Watching Black clouds and rolling thunder
Watchign the storm building
Over a hill I have seen,
My dreams dance with my cares
In vales I have stolen peaks,
of my feelings running away...
In a farm back aways I remeber,
Seeing a Child, Cold and alone,
The flames of hate cannot warm
him, though the spill over on him
I felt that pain...
I continue on down this road,
agaisnt all odds, I know that
this time, my heart cant lead
me wrong...
Through the trees, I here laughter
I can see down the road, a house
being built at the end, It seems as though
the first signs of spring have shown..
I continue to walk, trying not to
stubble and fall, as I keep striving for
my goal afar...
All the dreams and ache,
all the nightmares have gone away,
I keep seeing that place,
and it seems so far away,
but even if it took forever,
The journey would be worth it,
To hold you in my heart,
and dream with you forever.
I felt that joy...
