Despite the fact that Aqua is probably the anime protagonist that I detest the most for so many reasons, he just fits so well for this kind of series. Another amazing piece of art from the creator of Kaguya-sama!

Diehard Fujimoto fan here. I'm not giving it a 10/10 because we're not even halfway through chainsaw man yet. I feel like the chapters covered in this season are the weakest in the entire story, so you already know that it's only going to be straight 10s from here on out.

D.gray-man was my shit during 2015. Binging this show was just something i really liked. I really did also appreciate the place where the anime ended as it was left open for possible sequels but was also quite conclusive.

this season only having 13 episodes and having a somewhat lackluster ending after really good opening episodes has left me a little sad

the only value this anime brings is how awful the era of average dudes getting isekai'd with overpowered powers while also having as much personality as a wooden plank was. i do not want to watch uninteresting protagonists get everything handed to them simply because they just so happen to be the protagonist of the show (i'd rather have makoto from school days turn this anime upside down than whitecoat mcphone-in-his-ass). this was the absolute worst of that era and i am glad we moved on from that

nothing can really come close to monmusu, but this is pretty darn good. the comedy is also very funny at times

As the first harem anime I have ever fully watched, I can't really put this below a 10. This anime was very influential to me growing up and I thoroughly enjoyed watching every episode from start to finish to occassional rewatches.

Another influential anime I watched growing up. Definitely set me up as a big fan of Studio Trigger. Also the only anime where fanservice is unironically baked into the entire show as its' core battle system.

Konosuba's subversion of the many isekai tropes at the time was very hilarious and i'm glad to say that it aged quite well.

The one half of the show is the bitchboy mc crying about how his weiner don't work properly and the other half is his girlfriend (stalker? yep, stalker) doing the most outrageous things to convince him that he can get it up for sure

whenever a filler episode came up i just put it at 3x speed. the story without the fillers was nice though. just didnt really enjoy the big "i hit you with a mountain, you hit me with a mountain" fighting but the fight between naruto and sasuke at the end where they slowly wore each other down until they were just fist-fighting like a back-alley brawl was peak

this is definitely someone's fetish. if you look past all the spit though, it's a strangely charming coming of age story and a nice love story too. I, unfortunately, could not look past all the spit.
