Cool, they went out of the way to make it as cool as possible, trimmed fat, excessive gore, mindless violence ironic plot twists, wutang soundtrack, famous voice actors It really felt like they were trying to mimic/pay homage to traditional anime styles and themes, it kinda reminded me of ninja scroll to be honest

This is a fun show with alot going on, colorfull characters and abilities pepper this comedic and heart wrenching tale of a boys journey to manhood and the effects of the harsh environment in which he is living

amazing story great themes and a real mind twister, When this was popular I was a child so I was happy to rewatch it and better understand it later in life also
