Shaman King is alright... I suggest reading the manga of Shaman King, in same case of FMA, while the manga was still being written both series ended in a way different to the manga. Both main characters, Yoh and Naruto both are lazy and care about friendship and are powerful. They both have the power to change other's opinions about things. They also have a common goal, Akatsuki (Naruto) and Hao's followers (Shaman King). They meet various incounters. Every 500 years a Shaman Tournament is held.
