Onegai☆Twins

It's your typical harem anime, it's kind of good and bad. I could not continues watching after episode 6 because it got weird. It's similar to "One of Them is My Younger Sister!, Who is" I'm not into those kind of romance which is why I stop. Just keep an open mind about it.

Art: It's a little bit dated but during the time of it release it's considering to be decent at the time.

Story: It's has an interesting story and setting.

Character: I like the main character because he is reliable and independent. He's not your typical good-for-nothing/pervert.

Enjoyment: I'm impress because it's not easy ... to impress me. The comedy element is strong, I love every second of it but the drama kill it.

Overall: If you're looking for okay comedy/harem you might like this.

k for starts i thought this anime here was going to suck to be totally honest but after getting started it was funny it was sweet , it wass followable .. the story line was great .. you frist meet a boy name Kamishiro, Maiku he saw the news and saw a house that looked like the house that he grew up in so he packed his bags and move to the house and he is a computer progammer as well.. well he is traveling to school he meets a girl name that was jumping out of the car because this guy wanted to be ... a pervert.. so later on she comes to the house and he finds out her name is Miyafuji, Miina.. well she beggs and pleas with him to stay he says no no no you cant stay yadada yadad yada bluh bluh lol.. so then two mins a later it was a knock at the door and it was a girl name Onodera, Karen.
this anime here is kinda weird but intriguing umm you have one guy that likes his sister and you ave a suppose gay guy that likes this other guy and then two sister (maybe sister) that like there (maybe possible )brother.. weird love triangle , it has incest lol , homosexuality lol and drama drama drama.

No where near good as onegai teacher. The characters were pretty bad in this one besides maybe the main character. Its like throughout the anime they were adding random stuff to further the plot and the characters keep repeating themselves.

After awhile I found myself just watching for the crossovers from onegai teacher cause the main plot is really boring. It would have been ok but they messed it up somehow. Also the girls are bad looking compared to onegai teacher.


I would suggest watching it just for the glimpses of the sequel from onegai teacher.

First impressions, so after I had finished watching please teacher. I had found out that it had a sequel/spinoff called please twins. So at the time is was some what intrigued to check it out to see if it was as good as please teacher or at least watchable by rom-com standards and for the most part it was.

Story, 5/10
so like it pequel please teacher please twins main focus is another taboo relationship because last time we had the teacher now so let's now go with twins.
So the set up for please twins
starts out like most school life ... rom-com you know school life and what not.

The story is about Main protagonist named maiku or mike in the dub
who is an orphan and the only hint of his actual family is a photo of him as child with another person. Because of the events of please teacher he finds his childhood home which was also the picture he has.
After he has moved in and set himself up one day someone shows up on his door claiming that they are his long lost twin sister who named miina then about 5min later another girl named karen shows up claiming the same thing.
With both of them having the same picture that mike has and also having the Same blue eyes as him.
So pretty much twins is about this big problem of one of then being a long lost relative and one of them being a stranger and none of them knowing who is the relative and who the stranger among the two girls. So after that mike decides that they should both live with him intill that can solve this problem.

So please twins if you didn't know is pretty much a romcom story with probably the most awkward plot set up I have seen in quite a while Because what are the odds of long lost relatives coming to you door around about the same time.
That's a little to bullshity to me but anyway.

So the story is pretty much about the daily life of mike, miina and Karen and the situations that come of with them living together.
And of corse they fall in love with him,
even though I don't think it's a good idea to persure a Romantic relationship with someone that could be your twin brother but it's not like that stopped anyone else in anime.
So for the most part plays out like usual romcoms.
There misunderstandings, there people that like the main character and miina and Karen try to stop it and last but not lest is the drama thing of who the relative and who the stranger.
Even though at that point in the story it's didn't really matter because after what they been though together I doubt mike going to kick one of them out just because one of them isn't his sister.
Plus why would get rid of them these girls they do his housework for him and help pay his bills.
It's more beneficial to have these girls around and it doesn't really change much after they find out who is who all it really says is this girl has dibs to try and have a relationship with mike.

So I would say my positives are.

That it still takes itself seriously enough even though it arguable.
it's more kinkier than its predecessor but it's still more mature than most slice of life romcom school life shit.

Another positive is even though it's got fansevice it's pretty tame and try's to treat its characters with respect.

I would my negatives are that.

This could have been a moody and darker show about trying to repressive the urge to persure a relationship despite the problems such a relationship would bring and there are scenes in the show which hint that the characters involved are having those kind of feelings. So it's no koi kaze it that aspect.

Another problem is that it's very dated and all its ideas have been done better before or even the concept itself has been improved in other stories .

The last problem or negative I have is that.
The whole who the relative and who the stranger conflict.
Was solved in a very anti climaxic way and how that situation played out was a bit to mallow dramatic for my taste.

Characters, 6/10

The main character was a lot more interesting and had more of an defined personality compared to the previous main character.
His personality is pretty much the loner asshole who has a gentle side to him,
When he not getting into fights.
He has a bit of teenage angst to him and the way he was reacting to his new situation was pretty understandable and reltale.
Because he is an orphan and for the first time in his life he has got an actual family and people out there that he himself cares about and they care for him.
Because let's be completely honest orphanages do suck.
But sadly unlike the previous main character he didn't get to go all to home base.

Side characters.
We also get quite a few of the side characters from please teacher making an appearance which I quited liked and we get some new characters as well.
But you know they are still two dimensional at the most part as well.

the characters are relatable but the problem is there nothing really to deep about them.
Plus the new cast doesn't have the Cham that the old cast had.
Which is funny to me because none of the characters really stood out to me.

Art, 6/10

The animation is fine just like please teacher.
Backgrounds is also fine but its needs work.
Because a lot of the time the backgrounds are very unfocused and sometimes really blurry and take me out of the immersion.
It also has some very bright colors that go well with the tone of the show.

The art style is a very dated it differently looks different form the norm we get now a days. Buts it still pretty generic art style.

The character designs are fine.
What I think it slightly good about the character designs.
Is that it's pretty tame especially for characters.
that for all intents and purposes are used for fansevice.



Sound, 5/10

I slightly like the opening I don't care that much about the ending song in the slightest.
The ost was pretty forgettable over all for me.

It has some ok voice acting both sub and dub.
But other than that it's pretty much average.

Enjoyment, 6/10

So over all I quite enjoyed please twins it not as good as please teacher.
But it was still fun to watch and I also quite liked how the whole thing play out any way.
I also like some of the miss understanding parts that came up.
Like for example there one episode where miina and Karen think mike is a homosexual. because there this guy who most likely bi sexual who hits on him and is the only person that mike really is seen with and the fact that mike isn't that really fussed when it comes to the ladies.
So pretty much Though that entire episode they basically try that click bait him to try and quote on quote fix him.
Even though this episode they kind made homosexuality a joke which I didn't really appreciate but the episode was still funny to say the least.

Because we find out that wasn't the case and in fact we was actually trying his best to hold back.
Which I am going to quote in his words exactly what was keeping him back.
"One of them a relative One of them a relative One of them a relative "

Overall, 6/10

If you liked please teacher or rom-cons in general then you will probably like this.
But if you have seen enough rom-con shows then this will pretty much nothing much for you.
Because it's very dated and only nostalgia fans would really get value out of it.

it is really good anime,little old but still perfect romantic anime,it is not a sequel to Please Teacher but it is happening in the same place with few of the characters from that anime so you can look at it as sequel,All in all i really enjoyed it and was good and refreshing because animes today have romance and all but only few of them manage to make you feel like its real romance not some slow and low with plot show where you have to wait till the end of season for main characters so finally say i love you and kiss and ... that is it,in this show there is romance and kissing from very early on the show and it was perfect by my standards.I really wished for more seasons but that is just me,The show ended perfectly with happy ending

I haven't watched this for awhile, but here is my review.

The story plot really wasn't that interesting to me since it's about incest and stuff. I'd recommend this if you are looking for old anime to watch since this is probably the oldest anime I've watched.

For the art, it's an old anime. The art doesn't really matter to me, but the hair shading bothered me a bit so, I give it a 9.

The sound really didn't matter. The voice acting for the dub didn't go well since I watched in sub. It really depends on your personal ways.

The characters weren't really that good. Karen became ... annoying in the ova and I didn't like Miina that much.

The enjoyment is one thing. I watched this because I happened to come across this anime. It kept me interested.

Overall, the ending I didn't like much. Since where I watched Onegai Twins didn't sub a part I wanted to read. It's still a good show.

Before you start watching, please heed my words when I say "this is not an extension of Please Teacher." All that relates to the previous season is that they're in the same city and in the same school.

Now, the humor in here is pretty good, but it dips towards the ecchi side. Of course it's still good.
As for the romance, this is where the story makes it's point. The simple love triangle in Please Twins is made interesting by the fact that it's two girls for one boy, who all live in the same household, but one of them is related to him. No one ... knows though, all they have is a picture of a girl standing with a boy near a pool, which each of them were left when they were orphans. Problem is there's only two people in the picture and there's three people, each with a picture.

I give this anime 8/10 mainly because it wasn't all too great. When I look at an anime that tries to relate to real life, it better be heart stopping and touch your soul.

Every person has a guilty pleasure of some kind. I am no exception at all. I rented Final Destination 3 and grew up loving that over a decade later(Mary Elizabeth Winstead was in that movie btw.).I loved watching Ghost Ship.and I love love love Suckerpunch. All three are CONSIDERED crap movies but i love them sooo much.In terms of anime, some of my favorite shows were, Ikkitousen(Seasons 2-4), Maken ki, and even EIKEN(I'M NOT JOKING).I think it's because I go into these movies and shows knowing it's not going to good and I don't expect it to be, I just wanted a certain thing expected ... from these shows and i'm satisfied.But with this show, I think I loved it a bit too much.I don't know if I was drunk or high or whatever but I found this show strangely entertaining.

This show is the sequel to Onegai Teacher, a really awkward and cringe worthy show that featured a relationship with a 23 year old teacher/alien and her student who is 15 but for some bullcrap reason is supposed to be 18, unlike Onegai Teacher, this show did not have a supernatural plot line.

Later.. this other girl shows up(Karen Onodera) and says the same thing and has the same picture.These two even have the same eyes as him. And now its up to the three to figure out who is actually related to him or not.
This is the main goal at first but around episode 4, its like everyone forgets that one of these two is an actual stranger living in this guy's house. and for a good chunk of the show is either these two trying to get in Maiku's pants or shenanigans that happen around these three and others at school,finally before the show wraps up, its like the show almost forgot about the whole twin mystery and shoehorned it at the end

The animation is alright.It was made by studio Daume , who made Shiki and Yuru Yuri and some other stuff but it really didn't particularly stand out. The actual design is stunning.It uses a lot of summer colors to make you recognized how much this show takes place during the summer. Also, the character design is nice too, I like how you can recognize the characters by their hair color(at least i did) and every time I see a plate of tuna sashimi,i cant help but think of Miina and Karen. On an unrelated note, this show is NOT rated PG-13 because there is exposed nudity but its really hard to notice because of the ...color.

The highlight of both this show and it's predecessor, is the openings and endings. The openings and endings of this and Onegai Teacher were made by Kotoko and she is such an AMAZING vocalist.
the tone and atmosphere of the whole show comes from this opening.Both this opening and the opening to Onegai Twins are some of my favorite openings and are definitely worth listening to.The soundtrack is interesting because I didn't noticed it existed until this montage on one episode that lasted it about 2 minutes that was nothing but music and i remembered liking it.\

There isn't much to say about the characters because their personalities has as much depth as a sandbox.
Maiku likes programming, Miina cooks and Karen faints a lot. There is also other characters like student council president and other people but don't go wondering why they're not on the promo art. I kinda liked how characters from Onegai Teacher appear in this show and the dub is not bad, I like Karen's voice , its really cute.The interaction between the two girls is also nice to see, they make this little love alliance at the middle of the series. They make rules and agree to follow them and an episode or two later, they break their own rules and the alliance is disbanded already.

Overall, this show is not groundbreaking in its genre and chances are , less than half of anime fans don't even know this show exists, but I had a bit of fun with it.There was Unlike other harem shows, this show is not a senseless rom com or a drama that takes itself too seriously,I am an avid fan of the slice of life genre , and this show did its job.There are even times where it uses its relaxing music and nice summer colors to good use at the right times to make for some beautiful moments.But that's pretty much it, the characters are cute but thats the only interesting about them, and as a show, its not that good, but if you like shows like this to take a break , or if you like the summer, you could watch Natsu no Arashi, but if you are done with that, you can possibly watch this if you have the time.

Introduction: I enjoyed, and thought that it was creative to have a story centered around a search for a sibling. All three main characters were searching for something more in there lives and it is beautiful how it all plays out.

Story: Three orphans looking for more belonging and acceptance in life have a faithful meeting. Two girls and a boy, one girls a stranger while the other is Maiku's ( said Mike in English) sister. the fun in this anime for me was trying to figure out which girl was his sister and see all the misunderstandings , funny, silly, and heart warming interactions between ... the three main characters. I thought the anime did a great job on how they showed the mixed emotions the three had for each other and how it is all resolved is heart warming. A romance, and slice of life. It has it flaws but is a good gem of a story that can be overlooked. Funimation has the OVA 13th episode I recommend watching it to get a more full understanding of the anime.

Art: This anime did come out in 2003 so it has a older type art style to it. I thought it was good overall. To newer anime, and bigger named anime it is not nearly as good. The facial expressions were good and showed the emotions of this unique anime.

Sound: The opening "Second Flight" is very nice. It matched up pretty well to the episodes and the mood. The ending song is good not as good as the opening. Nothing to amazing that stood out with the background or original sound tract (OST) in the episodes.

Character: Maiku (Mike), Miina, and Karen the three main characters. The rest are supporting characters to these three and try to help out or get in the way depending on how you look at it. Mike is a very independent, smart, and mature young man. Living on his own as a computer programmer that he learned. Mike has mixed emotions about the two girls, but is interested and caring about them. One is very likely his sister so he tries not to get to close. Miina is a feisty red head, has some past hardships that hurt her, can be out spoken from time to time. She has a caring heart, but not that great a expressing her emotions. Karen is extremely shy, and very polite. Just like Miina, Karen also has a caring heart and has a hard time expressing her emotions. The three balance each other out. It is fun to see the friendship and love they form.

Enjoyment: I felt like I got to know, and care about the three main characters. There actions make sense and are explained very well which I liked. The silliness, misunderstanding, and emotional issues were not over the top but made for a very enjoyable story. All in all it was fun watching all the episodes.

Overall: Good story telling, Good Characters, and an interesting mystery who is Mike's sister and who is not made it fun, and exciting. The anime has some flaws in the story, art, sound, and characters but not enough to really make it that bad.

I finally finished this anime. It took a few months to do so, due to the fact I kept losing interest in it because of how slow paced it was, but I've finally done it.

Let's get into it.


Story: (5) The story itself is kind of interesting because we're trying to figure out who is related to who. The problem is, it takes way too long to go anywhere. Alot of the episodes feel like they don't 100% focus on the plot. Was there literally no possible way to figure out if they we're all related or not? DNA test maybe? No, it didn't cross ... their minds or it was, "Too Expensive". I did like the way it ended though, it had a nice twist but it took way too long to get interesting.


Art/Animation (6) There's not much I can say about the art and animation besides the fact that it's definitely dated looking and animations look quite stiff at times. Maybe it's not completely fair to judge it too hard, since this is from the early 2000s and stuff has improved alot. Character designs are okay at best.


Sound: (7) I watched this with the dub and it wasn't too bad honestly. I know alot of hard-core fans of Subs will trash it automatically but it genuinely isn't that bad. If you're into subs, then stick to subs for your own benefit. The music is quite nice, lots of piano is used, works quite well for the scenes.

Characters: (4) This is where I gotta be real with you. Karen, Mina and Mike are walking Cliches that we've seen time and time again. Karen is the shy, quiet and nervous one. Mina is the outgoing girl who will do whatever it takes to get what she wants and Mike is just bland beyond belief. He comes across as just boring most of the time, no real stand out moments with him at all. Don't get me started on the side characters! I know some of them are from Please Teacher! But since I haven't seen it, I wouldn't know. Maybe they are really deep in the other show? I don't know. But here, they are just bland. The only funny/interesting character in the sidelines is Kousei because he's in love with Mike and always hits on him.

Enjoyment/Overall: (5) I really wish I could say I recommend this show to others to watch but I just can't. The story has an interesting premise but takes way too long to pick up momentum and you slowly lose interest in it. The characters are clichéd, and only Karen, Mina, and Koisei are actually somewhere interesting. Everyone else, forgettable. The art and animation is dated, the sound is pretty good, but overall, it isn't enough to hold the show up enough. Also, they all realize they could be related, but they kiss and stuff? I have no idea what's up with incest in anime. It's so slow and boring.
Below average tiered show.
