Gundress

Sci-Fi cop shows about an elite unit of spandex-clad lawwomen with a mysterious leader. Burn-Up Excess essentially feels like Gundress if it were allowed to blossom into a complete story (having watched Gundress before). 

Bounty hunter girls with some hi-tech equipment. Actually, Gundress looks pretty much like a clone of BGC. 

Similair drawing style, both centered around "landmates". 

Similair age, both centered around "landmates". Although older, Ghost in the Shell has a much more modern, SciFi-like Story. 

Grundress is the "proof of concept" or, "the making of..." movie for GitS and Dominion Tank Police. With several similar plot lines, characters, themes (and some voice actors), Gundress lacks development in all of these areas. 4/10 only die-hard GitS or Masamune Shirow fans may actually enjoy this.
