Both are Korean animated and feature talking dogs. Both this film and the tv series have light hearted moments, but they also have violence.

Both involve a cast made up of several talking dogs. MNI is shojo though, while Baekgu is a violent shonen-like action series.

Both are about talking dogs that have to struggle with fighting against other dogs. GDW is a bit darker than Baekgu though and has almost no human-involvement while Baekgu has alot of human involvement. Also, the characters in GDW are wild dogs that fight against a pack of evil dogs, but the characters in Baekgu are forced to fight in dog fighting arenas for human entertianment after either being captured as strays or stolen from their owners. Also, while Baekgu does have violence there is no gore. Both involve talking dogs and the sport of dog fighting to some degree, but there's much more dog fighting in Baekgu. However, Baekgu has no gore in spite of alot of violence and lots of human involvement while GNG has limited human involvement and a good bit of gore though not as much as it's sequel GDW.
