Isekai plots are often the dream come true for the main protagonist who finds themselves in the new world, but in the case of both these Anime it's a nightmare instead.

These anime are both isekai with Arifureta focusing more on revenge while KonoSuba is more into achievements and comedy. They both have a similar setting in which both are set in a fantasy world with various powers, magic, and monsters. They also have a similar set of characters in which a boy is surrounded by girls. Some characters are similar in terms of personality. I don't really recommend Arifureta if you want a similar anime concept and theme to KonoSuba while having a great animation. If it's the concept and theme alone, then that's where I would recommend it.

- both feature main characters are easily able to defeat enemies they come across either by overpowering them or dumb luck
- both surround the main character with a lot of females (and personality traits are shared between them)
