Let’s hope that they don’t make us wait too long for an update.
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

I always thought anime like CSM gets announced second season right away but it's been this long without it :/ hopefully we get new info about it soon

Rejoice! Bomb Girl Arc is getting a movie end of next year and the rest of part 1 will be adapted in 12 episodes shortly after.

I think they are gonna adapt CSM reze arc into a movie and the rest into season 2 as hells paradise (atleast MAL members wise) has 4x less members and has announced season 2 (both by MAPPA) so I don’t see a possibility that the rest of CSM isnt adapted, also CSM fan base is a lot bigger

CSM has a panel at Jump Festa so if anything it will get announced there. and it definitely wouldn't have 24 eps. there isn't enough content left in part 1 of the manga for that.
if we're going off leaks we would have a Reze movie and then the rest of part 1 as a season.

Yeah I am also eagerly waiting for season 2. Loved the S1 adaptation, especially the unique direction.

I remember when people were analyzing Mappa’s site traffic to prove CM’s BD sales were impressive. I also remember when people suggested a Twitter post was proof that a season 2 was in the works. Judging by the state of Mappa atm, I doubt they wouldn’t even want to touch a failure of a project like Chainsaw Man until at least five years have passed, and that’s if business has been good. It’s sad they soaked so much effort into this mediocrity and JJK’s animation suffered.

It's clear that the studio has declared this a commercial success, yet you're still finding reasons to complain... Perhaps envy is clouding your perspective on this achievement lol.
