Who needs more of our cute and adorable Fran?
| After a successful animation of the first season, of course, we need a sequel... (Yes, for those like me, I could call it a successful enough series... with BS) I am one of those who truly enjoyed the first season to its fullest, I think of rewatching the first season again to fully enjoy it again... What are your thoughts? P.S. The supporting characters also did their best to make this series wonderful in my eyes. |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| I havent seen it because it looks pretty mid. But having a second season makes even mediocre anime seem a little bit less like a waste of time so maybe I'll check it out. |

The show isn’t groundbreaking in terms of story. But our main characters are very entertaining and keep us watching. I recommend giving it a few episodes. |

| Great news! Demanding other (probably better) shows get 2nd seasons is not a reason to dump all over Fran & Friends, eh? Claiming there's no 'world building' glosses over the (you know) world building in it. It's a comedy-drama, not a documentary. Some things are better left ambiguous. Claiming there's no character development says that person hasn't watched past episode 01, maybe not far past the OP song even :p It's fun but still serious. It's funny but has actual plot. It has Fran... case closed! |

I know more about their social systems, magic systems, economic and political systems than many other shows. It isn't even the point of the show, but it is nicely conveyed with a minimum of exposition. Fran goes from a helpless slave-girl to a bold fighting machine in a logical and not easy way. Sword may be somewhat one dimensional (and OP) but the rest of the characters are interesting and evolving. Did you even watch the series? To claim Fran or even Amanda has no character development suggests you have not. Anyhow, why are your trolling a show you dislike? That speaks volumes as to the integrity & value of your opinion. | It's real and happening, oh yes. More adventures with Fran & Co. Seems there's a lot of source material for them to work off of, hopefully the pacing is good in S2. |

What you have to ask yourself, do you like the design of the Cat Girl on the Cover? If your answer is "Yes, that's all that I need" well then you might enjoy the show, because there is nothing really to it. No Story, no Worldbuilding, no Character development, etc. So if all you need is a cute cat girl to enjoy an anime, then it is probably good. Otherwise... not really. Also for the character development, hmm tbh Fran doesn't really need a character development because she doesn't age on this anime, it's fine that she is immature and childish, well acts on her age, she's okay for what she is for now. Nothing groundbreaking and revolutionary but I think this is a good show and deserves a second season. |
