I am not into Mecha anime, truth be told this is the 1st time that I've tried to watch a series on the Gundam franchise that is produced by Sunrise-Bandai™...
I expected it to be the same as the other Gundam series but I was proven wrong...
After seeing the 1st season, I was so surprised at how this series turned out. I expected myself to drop this after watching a couple of episodes but instead I was drawn in to watch it up to the end, it has all the elements needed to create a precise and successful series...
(Phase two)
Interesting plot, complex storyline, excellent character development, and outstanding visualization... The animation itself is clear and very detailed...
I tried to watch some Gundam series before but after 2-5 episodes I find my interest draining away, one thing that I've observed is that compared to other Gundam titles this series so far is the easiest to understand...
(Phase three)
I mean when I watched other Gundam titles in the 1st or 2nd episode, they introduce many Gundams with their corresponding models like Gundam Zeta, Gundam ZZ, Gundam Type Z-0, etc. etc..
Somehow it seems like instead of becoming interesting, it became a show-off for Gundam models and sometimes it will become confusing while you watch it, I mean it's like, "What's this Gundam, why does it look the same as that Gundam?"
So in the end it is not interesting at all...

But Gundam 00 is really great, I must admit that they did a good job on this series. For someone like me who is not into mecha anime I was definitely surprised, at the ending of the 1st season it left me an impression that the good part is yet to come. After seeing the 1st 3 episodes of the second season I could say that this is definitely going to be much more interesting, much more complex, and much more developed than the 1st...
So brace yourself on the second season, from the look of things this is going to be another epic...
This season is a promising one... And I guess it's worth the wait! Tee hee~ :3
