The thing I like about Frieren is that it doesn't try to force you sad stories, but instead let them flow naturally through beautiful and captivating storytelling. You don't need a tragic or soul-crushing one; just a simple story about time. We as humans, have limits and should cherish every memories with the ones we love. What mark would you leave in this world before you die? It gives you a heartfelt and touching impact.

That aside, I also like that Frieren has compact lore. Like how it explores the timeline, the history of the world, and the magic system is pretty well-made. It also has a lot of badass moments that gave me chills. The combat is a battle of wits and knowledge, just like one of the character sayings, "a complex rock, paper, scissor game."

Looking forward to season 2.
