It is a comedy and yes its funny how mahoro behaves as she tries to maintain a working reletionship with her boss (a 14 year old sexually curious kid) but obviously they are much much more. She pulls you in with her bright nature yet there is an underlying dark side to her from her war torn past that she is desperate to keep her young innocent boss from knowing. After each fun filled episode, the days remaining in her "operating time" is shown and it really made me sad... this i believe sets this anime apart as this is such a rollercoaster of emotions. You can be laughing in one episode and cry in the next.
Don't expect to see any top class fighting scenes but there are some scattered around and expect a weirdish ending.... can't really say i expected it. The characters are cute and each has their unqiue personal traits that makes this comedy one of the funnier ones i've seen. (wanna see what i've seen... check out my list then lol)
For those of you who like chrono crusuade you'd definately would like this one as the story line is similar yet very different. Enjoy :D
