Warning! Emo's Beware. This is one of the darkest, most depressing anime I have ever seen, but I ain't complaining. Having just watched this anime from start to finish I have to say that this has to be one of the most heart felt and emotional stories available on DVD, not just anime. But this also presents a possible downfall. While the story is involving and easy to follow, it does get very dark and heavy near the end, which will put off those hoping for an easy viewing, 100mph action revenge thriller. Aside from this all is on a par with all great anime. Brilliant animation with a nice mix of new age business district and old west shanty town as well as lovable characters. The only grievence with any of the characters is with Brandon Heat. He needs to say more. Overall this is a good anime. It is not for those looking for a romp, but is weel worth considering by a lover of all anime and those looking for a good, solid, emotional tale.
