Yes, the art style is different. Yes, there is a lot of dialogue. And yes, this show IS amazing. Watch this show, just watch it you. will. not. be. disappointed haha. Very few times have I seen an anime as well made as this, and the saddest part is that not as many people have watched this compared to people who watched lesser shows like SAO( is said lesser, not dog s$&t)
Try out the first episode, watch the character interaction, at least give it that.
STORY 10: A story doesn't have to be this grand epic tale, and katanagatari does have one. This show is simple, two people are on a mission to collect swords, and with such a simple story, and fantastic journey is born( that sounded smart right?)
CHARACTERS 10: MANNNN there are parts in this series where I truly root for the 'villains'. Heroes------> Doper, Villains-----------> Doper, haha watch this show and I'll give you my phone number...........ladies.
OVERALL 10: This show is just great. Watch it, love it, marry it ( I will try not to judge you for it)
