In both series, we have a main male protagonist who undertakes martial arts training and fights powerful adversaries. Although their motivations are different, both series shows their purpose of fighting every chapter with clarity. There is the mechanics of fighting that is also explored as we see the action through storytelling. The main male protagonist also becomes stronger as they go through training as they go from an underdog to a skilled competitor.
