Rikudo Koshi's insane, extreme, but most well-done works.
Both have an episodic nature, a likeable cast of unique characters, the same great art style, and both are indeed for a mature audience only.
While Excel Saga is nonsensical and random to the max, Mebius Gear's story is pretty good and actually makes sense, since it's only drawn, and not written, by Koshi-sensei. ES is exaggerated most of the time, but MG is even more hardcore because of its graphic gore and sex.
