Created by the same author, Aku no Hana and Boku wa Mari Naka has a fair amount of thriller moments. The main protagonist gets themselves into very bizarre situations with compromising results. Their interactions with certain characters also become strange as the series goes on. Throughout their story, they discover the truth about certain events. There is also mystery presented that revolves around the main characters. Recommended for fans who likes psychological drama.

Both manga have a strange vibe. Both include a female character that you are unsure about, you don’t know what their motives are, and who try to escape normal life through unconventional means, and who drags a male character along with them in that endeavour.
