Boku no Hero Academia

Iris Zero and Boku no Hero Academia accounts for people with supernatural abilities. However, the catch is that the main male protagonist in both series doesn't have any special powers. Yet, they still try to adapt with others and the life they live in their world. Both series are known for the developments of various characters. Throughout the story, mechanics of the various powers in both series are explained. There is also certain mystery regarding a few of the characters including their past; some that has influences in the present.
Boku no Hero Academia is action packed comedy, Iris Zero is more of a psychological drama. Though the two are different, their stories begin somewhat similar: the world was normal until recently, but now majority of kids have special abilities. There are some who don't posses any supernatural powers, and MCs in both mangas fall to this category. They have to struggle to live on par with others and find friends along the way. Apart from that mangas have little in common, but it may be interesting to see the same situation from a different angle.
