Both manga titles gives off a similar feeling of psychological mind games. It involves murders in a way that seems to be justified because the ones that are targeted are criminals.
The main protagonists in both series tries to deliver "justice" but in a way that can be considered controversial.
In both series, there is also detectives who are on various cases related to the murders.
Both series has great psychological themes, thriller like endings, and serious backgrounds related to incidents (mostly murder) throughout each chapter.
