These manga have many similarities. <br/> Both started their serialization in the 90’s. <br/> Both have action, drama, tragedy, lots of bishounen, a bit of comedy to lighten up the mood, and can be quite psychological, even though Get Backers has more shounen elements and is less serious than X (and no offence, but Rando Ayamine’s art cannot be compared with the artistic perfection that Clamp reached in X). <br/> They also have several themes in common, such as granting wishes, fighting with ex-friends, protecting the loved ones, and world destruction. <br/> In both there are 2 opposite factions that fight against each other. <br/>
