Both series are romantic comedies with rough, "violent" girls and a quieter, "gentler" guy. The main couples in both series each have secrets they do not want revealed to others and they will sometimes go to ridiculous (hilarious) lengths to keep them. In both of these series, the main couples get together fairly quickly and the series revolves around the development of their relationships (and those of their friends) afterwards. If you want a nice romance with a slice-of-life feel and comedy all around, then I would recommend both of them.

While both series follow different premises, they take place in a familiar environment in the modern ages. The main female character also has a side that they don't want others to discover. While both series retain comedy, Horimiya does have some drama and a slice of life tone that is adapted fairly lighthearted with relationship building. Recommended for fans of comedy and drama.

- The main couple wants to hide their relationship from other people in the start of the story because the difference of their personality. - Both manga also has similar feeling. Although they are romance manga, they are not angsty. The stories are generally simple, heartwarming, and light-hearted. - The couples also balanced. The point of view changed from the male and the female, and the characters complete each other.
