Both shows take place around the time period, have similar voice actors, similar acting characters and plots involving time, magic and special watches.
the two main characters in both anime are connected by a contract that their life is the price for it. and the time is a main factor in both anime.
the relationship between the characters and the atmosphere are somehow the same.
One obvious similarity between these two similarities is that both of the two main characters in the series are bound by a so-called "contract." And that the contractors' partners aren't human at all.

They have a simmilar feel, simmilar plots (a human contractor and a demon bound together by a pact in which time plays a very important part and the contractor will probably lose his/her life if nothing is done to avoid it). They have a simmilar setting (with european influences, although Pandorea Hearts' seems a bit more old than Chrno Crusade's, which could be set in a ficticious 194X Europe). They have the same opaque animation tones. Also, in both the main boy is cheerful and easygoing, and the main girl is somewhat of a tsundere.
Both humans are contractors, while being partnered with demon/chain.
Both have great illustrations and quality.
The main characters are bound by a contract that sucks up the life of the contractor when his partner use his power

The contract part between Alice and Oz in pandora reminds me of Chrono and rossetto in chrno crusade.. however the pace of the anime only pick up midway through for pandora so for those planning to watch, you might be bore at first but its really not a bad anime..
Note : The way it ends for pandora reminds me of Flame of Recca...
Chrno Crusade and Pandora Hearts both follow a human saving themselves by making a contract with a supernatural being. A ton of the characters are similar as well, and the animation/art style is pretty similar to boot. Chrno Crusade has more action, and is just an overall better anime. If you like Pandora Hearts, you’ll probably like Chrno Crusade, the same thing in reverse doesn’t work as well,
