Even though No.6 is a Shounen-ai, I have to say that we have very similar characters not only as personality but also suprisingly as physically! In both shows, notion of love and friendship captures you so fast!

Both start off with a character mislead by small rumors according to their society, then somehow stumbling into the truth when they travel out of it. By their situation, having to live with someone with a mild opposite personality yet it works out to form an unexpected romantic bond (Middle plot, not spoiling anything). As well the characters learn about and adapt into their new environment. Although No.6 goes into heavier themes while is aimed at pre teens and adolescents, Howl's Moving Castle is a light-hearted movie aimed at kids and family.
