The setting is a colorful "Earth" beset by strange magical beings.
A group of teenagers are largely responsible for using superpowers to fight these beings.
The format of the show is mostly "Monster of the week", with many disconnected single-episode plots
Despite this, there is one larger incident introduced early and addressed in the show's final arc to act as a capstone.
Both shows tend towards lighter action, with few moments that are legitimately dark. (Phantom World is somewhat lighter on average, but more competent at going dark)
Both shows have moderate fanservice and very light harem-esque aspects (Luck & Logic is heavier on the fanservice and romance)
