Hataraku Maou-sama! and Outbreak Company both contain a ton of humor. Among some of these include its various anime references. The main characters in both series are also oblivious to certain simple things because they are not from the world they were once used to. However, they are able to adjust and even become friends with others that they encounter.
There is some action in both series although most of it is portrayed as comedic. The main male protagonists from both series are also somewhat similar in personality. However, their respective relationships with the main female characters from both series are very contrasting.
Both are as interesting as heck! The plot-lines are absolutely fantastic. The jokes really hit me hard while watching both series. Both stories take place where the earth has another realm, which is actually something that is especially unusual for comedy anime. The animes' endings have a superb overall aspect to them! I hope this is useful for everyone searching for good anime to watch! :)

Both anime are like the reverse version of each other.. they share the similar idea of how does it feel to live & work in another world. In Hataraku Maou-sama, the MCs went to human world and work in there, while in Outbreak Company the MCs went to the fantasy world for work purpose.
