Girls with a bit of clothes, a lot of Fan service and another bunch of mystery. It starts with you not understand why and how. Ends with you re-watching the last episode to may understand something. And of course a cool white head girl. lols
Both are filled with "shoot-em up" action. The type of music, characters, everything is pretty similar. I would say that the story line isnt as good as Canaan but still was a good anime.
Both of the leads are almost identical. Tomboy, grey hair, loves guns, highly skilled in warfare, the same cloths, the same tatoos. They both have a best friend (seems kind of a yuri thing) that they protect.

When you watch both series, it's hard not to think about both of these titles at once. These two series have quite a lot of similarities as a matter of fact:
Both of the lead characters are tough, stoic, and possesses the advanced usage of firearms. In fact, both the main female characters even look a bit like with that striking white hair and trained physique
Both series has supernatural elements mixed in with a lot of action and drama.
Both series involves fast action and full throttle battle scenes.
There is a strong friendship theme between the main characters of both series
Both have a strong female lead character that have supernatural powers
Both have a weak female side character that admires the protagonist
Both have main character designs that look fairly alike
Both have hints of yuri in it
Both endings are somewhat similar and leave you wanting for more
Both animes are really good and should be worth a shot if seen one or the other.
