Similar set of beautiful lifestyle living in the country side. With an easy to love cast makes for a lovely series when just trying to relax and escape life for awhile.
cute girls doing cute things healing anime, set in a rural area with beautiful scenery, with moe blobs doing silly and heart warming things. Non Non Biyori has a bit more comedy while Tamayura has a bit more feels. Both are great to watch and get away from the daily stress.

Tamayura and Non Non Biyori are animated series that follows more of a slice-of-life format with cute girls doing cute things during their daily lives. They capture every day moments in a relaxing way with a lighthearted atmosphere.
Both series consists mainly of a female cast with charming dialogues, adorable expressions, and energetic atmosphere.

The only difference I find is that non non biyori does in comedic part better. I enjoyed both and smiled like an idiot when I was watching them. I feel happiness. :D It was like all my stress and problems are gone~
Bought both osts album. No regrets. Still feel very relaxing whenever I hear them (•‿•)
Im a calm-minded kind of guy and both are perfect for me.
While Tamayura's plot are pretty serious and Non-Non Biyori is quite the opposite, they still has some similarity that might be my main enjoyment of the anime, which are :
• Story & Settings. Mainly not about school, focuses more in the characters which is not only school girls or lolis. Sets in a countryside, which has a pretty calm-feeling. A good one to relax with.
• Visuals. Literally being a relaxing anime, the visuals did a great job supporting it by being simple-looking & beautiful at the same time.
