yes, having a hotel thats walking distance is a luxury. for my first otakon i stayed in a hotel near the BWI airport - mainly because i was trying book a hotel too late and didnt know about the otakon hotel madness. that hotel was fine, but the distance sucked 'cause if you stay late at the con you have no way of getting back other than taxi.
you're also near all the food staples: mcdonalds, 7 eleven, dunkin donuts, lol. good cheap breakfast food. plus its fun to see those places packed with cosplayers. oh, and im not joking but the 7 eleven was WIPED CLEAN.... i swear there was nothing left saturday night

okay im a baka..... totally disregard that last post of mine.... when you said you replied to my post in the otakon forms i was thinking about the forms on the official otakon website, which i post on frequently, lol. i was thinking u were someone from there.
so, i just went to go read your post on THIS site..... ya i stayed in that hotel last year. i liked it a lot because the staff was very nice and went out of their way to accomodate the rather large otakon crowd. my single room was kinda small though - but maybe that was because i was sharing it with 6 people, LOL
