Dune is a science fiction book. The design is based on David Lynch's movie adaptation which wasn't well received by the fans. I've not seen it.

I'd love to read RoV. I read a bit of it. I think the anime has a far superior introduction to the story and characters. But I heard the rest of it is much better than the anime. I can imagine so. I just wish more of these vintage manga were available in stores. It'd make a good collection.

Ah, yes. Devilman is great. It's nice to see you enjoyed it. If that's the only thing you've read by Nagai, then I suggest you read Violence Jack (When it's finished being translated) and Devil Lady (aka Devilman Lady). His other manga suck balls and are terribly drawn compared to the three I mentioned. He put his life and soul into Devilman and Violence Jack. I think Devil Lady has only just finished being translated.
