My hobbies(besides watching anime , duh!): I watch PLENTY of movies, reading graphic novels, (+sleeping), listening to rock and rap, stamp collection, and wasting time lol. ( ^ω^)
My favorite band: Linkin Park, Green Day, Nickelback....( I also like rappers like Eminem, Shinoda, Mackelmore, Jay-Z)

haha hellsing is pretty over the edge. If you have a hard time with that one, you probably wouldn't like the other ones I recommended besides Shinsekai Yori; They are all pretty extreme.
There is not too much plot with Pupa so I can see why many people wouldn't like it. The one thing it did have going for it was the fact that it is so different from anything else I've seen. Because of that, it was very interesting to me. And it is such a short anime and didn't take that long to finish. So, if you are ever in the mood to watch a very unique show then this might be a good show to watch... or it might not lol. As you can see from the score, most people don't like it.
But yeah, Shinsekai Yori is a very interesting anime that I think you'll like!
Yeah, I really enjoyed Shiki and it had such an eerie feel to it. The vampire's eyes were freaky because they just looked like empty black holes.
If you are in the mood for similar anime then here's a list of a few that I would recommend:
1-Hellsing Ultimate- The main vampire, Alucard, is evil and awesome at the same time.
2-Kurozuka- Has a similar feel as Shiki.
3-Pupa- Not very popular, but I thought it was interesting.
4-Shinsekai Yori- Is a dark and touching anime at times. I would recommend watching this one for sure.
5-Corpse Party- Creepy and gruesome.
Glad to find another Fate/Zero and Psycho-Pass fan ^^
