This was my first omnibus anime that i watched and when Morishima arc was over i was like WTF ...The changing of girl stories confused me.
Now i'm watching Chihayafuru and as fun and intense as the matches get, the romance and who chooses who is the heaviest vibe i get from the anime.
I loved it ..she was my girl! Crazy and wild :D ..
The cafeteria scene and the water pump shed kiss scene was unbelievable fun and exciting :D
At first i was discourage by the things you liked the most about it: the colors and the art. I'm used to anime that have a more real look, more color and that look really alive (big eyes, exquisite details etc) :D But after watching the first ep. of Kimi ni Todoke i was able to move from what i believed then to be it's weak points and focus on the great story.
Sometimes i'm really superficial and if i let my guard down i miss out on cool things(ex: Nisekoi) ... I'm glad this wasn't the case and i was able to stick with this nice and sweet anime.
I too had to watch sever different anime series to get over it + the weekly ones and it kinda worked, i'm no longer sad or lost and depressed, but every time i think about a character from Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso or i hear the music, it comes back again and does the same thing only this time i can withstand it's sadness.
Trust me when i say that it's not just you, there are many of us that saw this anime and felt the same way.
