I need a good iyashikei/moe/comedy show to balance this SRSBSNS out. Maria-sama, maybe? GA Arts Class?
For me, a 5 is the grade I give for "I enjoyed watching this show", but pretty much forgettable.
Increasing points are given for things that are well done in the course of the series that make it memorable, be it artistic merit, technical competence or mindless pandering, basically whatever it aims to satisfy the viewer with, and vice versa. By "well done" of course it is only in a subjective sense, though.

The Eureka Seven manga is simply great. It's pretty different from the anime, and the ending may seem a bit sad and striking at first, but it's truly good. A great experience.

Yeah, I decided to watch all those series and movies that I have collected in the last few months, Overman King Gainer is one of them.
I'm planning to watch the Macross shows in the future, definitely.
By the way, have you read the Eureka Seven manga? I finished it a few days ago, and it was marvellous.

Will do :)
Well that's good to hear. Sounds like it's just an all-around fun to show to watch in general. I wonder why I don't hear much about it though...hm, oh well. I'll watch it and see how it is for myself.
And lol yeah, ORE SANJOU was definitely the highlight of Den-O. Momotaros was hilarious and was my favorite character, along with Yuuto and Deneb. So I guess it isn't all too necessary to have watched all the previous Hesei Riders before diving into Decade, eh? I hear it bastardizes a lot of the Riders or something, so maybe going in with not as much knowledge could actually be a good thing. Kabuto is kinda srs business, but it does have its comedic value; mostly related to cooking.
Turns out my friend is going to let me borrow his School Rumble DVDs, so I guess I might as well give it a try. I suppose I have a soft spot for tsunderes, as long as they're done right. Not really a fan of the recent surge of loli-tsunderes, eh. Also, now that I think about it, I remember almost watching Moribito when it was airing, but I can't remember why I didn't actually do so. Perhaps I was just waiting for it to finish...I'll have to put it on my planned shows to watch.
Talho was indeed a strong female character. She took matters in her own hands. To be honest, Holland to me started off cool but slowly degraded into a character I really found annoying, but as you said, Talho's the one who pulls him back together, and by the last 1/3 of the show he's pretty likable.
I gave the link for the original image to Shiroth, so I might as well give it to you too. Sochie~

Hey remember that thing you were talking about before?
This one is more limited edition than the last one

Been a Nanoha fan for a long time...yeah, I guess it makes sense to give it a little rest for the time being. I'll probably keep up with the two manga though =P
Oh okay, so Sunred isn't filled with deep-rooted connections to the genre? That sounds good, I'll add it to my plan-to-watch list then. And lol, you haven't watched any Kamen Rider? Dunno if it's your cup of tea, but if it is, then I suggest watching Kabuto since it's a good starter. Den-O's good if you want something much more lighthearted, though. I once planned on watching Decade for some reason (probably the ONORE DICKEIDO!), and I still have it all downloaded, but eh, I'll get to it later on.
I MIGHT just try out School Rumble since that friend who recommended it to me won't stop recommending it! So, maybe I'll check out a few episodes just to satisfy him. So it's one of those love comedies that doesn't conclude the whole relationship thing? Eh, I dunno if I'll like that or not. If anything, I'll probably find myself liking the supporting cast or something. Any non-loli tsunderes in there?
Mushishi and Seirei no Moribito I've heard of. I remember reading about Mushishi and thinking that I wouldn't like it for whatever reason. I think it has like no real main character or something? My memory fails me. I've heard really good things about Serei though; it's on your favorites so it's got to be somewhat good, heh. Also, interesting to see Talho on your character favorites. I actually rather liked the Holland-Talho conflicts/relationship in Eureka 7 over the other two major ones since it showed the more mature, adult side of things.

It's just a good thing i've already seen it, or i'd be going crazy for quite a while now. Sure it was a cam rip with subs, though better then nothing.

Yeah i'm keeping my fingers crossed that i get it somewhere close to me. The first film is released on DVD and Blu-ray here in March, so we might get something around that time.
& i always make sure i'm eating animal crackers whenever i rewatch some Zeta Gundam. :3

I'm hoping i get to watch the film in a cinema eventually, just for the score.
Haha the animal crackers gag. I never tire of seeing it.

I see you've finally watched Evangelion 2.0. Epic score or what?

I'm assuming you've seen the trailer for the DtB DVDs set to come out next year? I guess all the backstory really will be revealed there. The trailer had some cool action, so I'm looking forward to it at least.
As for Nanoha...I guess I'd be happy with either or being animated, but it probably won't happen for a while. Part of me doesn't want another animated series because I think the franchise should just rest, but the other part of me wants moar! It really is an enjoyable franchise/universe/setting in general, I think.
As for Sunred...hm, the only real Toku I've watched are Kamen Riders Den-O, Kabuto, some of Agito, very little of Kuuga, and about 4 episodes of W. I can't say my toku knowledge is anything special. Still think I should watch it? Or would all the jokes, etc. just go over my head?
Also, do you have any anime suggestions in general? Doesn't have to be /m/-related. I've got Thanksgiving break coming up and I might take the time to check out a few series. Your anime repertoire is pretty large compared to mine...I mostly just watch mecha anime. One of my friends recommended School Rumble, but eh, I have no clue if I'll like it or not.

Hmm, anime that would make good candidates for Celtic stuff... I guess Victorian Romance Emma qualifies (and in fact, the Celtic version of Silhouette of a Breeze is AWSM). Any anime that has a rural, folksy setting would also qualify. It certainly wouldn't be out of place in YKK. But yeah, within the sphere of high school romances, giant robots, and action/thrillers, Celtic music will be hard-pressed to find its niche.
Also, Ah My Goddess TV's intro works too with the Celtic stuff in the first season and the Scottish bagpipes in the second season :p

I'm currently having laptop problems (i'm on my Father's PC at the moment), so i won't be marathoning a show until it's sorted. Though when it is, it'll be the first i watch.
