Guys that actually seen plenty of anime will know that SAO is a massive let down, even the readers. When you see more shows you will understand how flawed it is. I quote from a fellow MAL "Sore Ass Online".

i saw youre haruhi review and i felt like i should guide you for season 2. most of it are tie-in into the highest rated movie here in MAL.

adventures of mikuru (1 episode) is explained in a 5 later episode (the sigh of HS 1-5)

endless eight, 8 episodes of the same plot. since youre not a fan, i suggest watching parts 1-2 (or maybe 3 if you still dont believe that it will just repeat) and then part 8 for the conclusion.

do not miss "live alive", "day of the sagittarius" and especially "bamboo leaf rhapsody" before watching the movie "disappearance of...."

in my opinion, the movie is the main reason why haruhi is so popular
