GOOD DAY FALC MEMBERS! This may be too late already but let us still greet you a BELATED HAPPY NEW YEAR, at least. We’re having our very first newsletter to start the New Year. Hoooray~ We tried our best to shorten this as much as possible. And now, first things first:
FILIPINO ANIME LOVERS CLUB (FALC)
FALC, as the name says, is a MAL club for Filipino anime lovers – pure or half – and for everyone who’s interested to know more about the Filipino culture. Visit once in a while and leave a comment here. Who knows, maybe you’ll be able to meet someone in your area who’s pretty much the same as you – one who loves anime. We would really be glad to see the club alive with your comments. Don’t forget to be friendly, ok? Also, in here, you could find different threads that may catch some of your attention.

TV5, in partnership with Cosplaymania, invites all anime and cosplay enthusiasts to join TV5 Animega's CosTube, a cosplay video contest where fans can display their love for anime by dressing up as their favorite anime character, recording a video of themselves, uploading the clip and sending the link online for a chance to fame and to winning up to P70,000 cash prize.
CosTube video contest is open to cosplayers and amateur film-makers of all ages. All interested participants should first become a member of TV5Kommunity or Cosplay.ph at www.tv5.com.ph and www.cosplay.ph in order to join the contest, which theme centers on "Group Cosplay."
Contestants simply has to dress up as their favorite anime character, prepare a skit and record a video portraying their anime character (cosplay), upload the clip online and once registered, send the link to www.cosplaymania.com.
P10, 000 will be awarded to the Top 5 finalists. Among the five finalists, TV5's pick will receive another P10, 000 cash prize, and the grand prize winner gets to take home at least P50, 000.
Submission of entries is ongoing from June 1 to August 8, 2009. For more information, visit www.tv5.com.ph or www.cosplaymania.com and watch the anime shows on ANIMEGA, only on TV5.
