I love almost all anime except *cringe* i'm not a fan of really any of the Shojo Romance genre. Or at least not the ones without any substance to them. There are always exceptions. I've been on a quest to find and watch the goriest animes (guess i'm not completely average).

I support the artists/animators i love <3 By purchasing their work. Comments are loved i'm usually bored doing art or watching anime

IMDB does a pretty OK job of cataloging/rating movies. They also do TV series (I don't use it for that; it'd trigger my OCD, lol.) Their database is probably the most comprehensive one out there, though their social networking stuff is a bit lackluster, if that's a concern. Goodreads is great for books, I agree! There's an export option on the left-sided menu in "My Books." I don't like how they don't group series together on the shelf though, especially manga which have bajillions of volumes. MAL is way better at managing that.

It was kinda a pain in he butt since AP has no export option. I recently joined 2 other sites to track my books and movies; the first thing I checked was whether they let users export their listings. Lesson learned, lol.
