I used to feel that way until I realized that there are many juniors and seniors who still don't know what they want to do so you're not alone. Are you still taking General Ed classes? You might find something that piques your interest in one of those. Try doing research online, look for something that would be the best fit for you but that you would enjoy doing as well. True, I wanted to go into Psychiatry but id rather not go to med school lol. Don't feel like you have to rush things though, take your time and enjoy the journey. Many professors have a degree in something they don't even use or in something that is completely different from what they are doing, and many are still in school. Its all about trial and error. I know in today's society, especially, everything feels so rushed and theres always this feeling of not having enough time but in the end its just a mindset. Theres also a different major similar to Psych: Human Development (if you're interested in childhood, or adolescence, or even aging). Don't be afraid to change your major. Actually the average # of times students change their major is between 2-3 times :p

Yeah, just thinking about Graduate School is stressing me out though xD

Oh no don't worry about it, I don't mind at all :)

It seems fairly interesting so far!! I've heard great reviews of it, too. You should definitely look into watching it! :)

If you join the club, you should head over to the chatroom, that's where I spend a lot of my time. ^-^ The comment section (all the way at the bottom of the page) is fun too! We have a Question of the Day everyday, and that's really cool. :) Also, every week we'll be holding a movie night, and if you have any recommendations, make sure to make them in the thread. ᵔᴥᵔ

Nice to meet you Aimee!

I'm glad I could help then! :) Oh, you still have time to decide what you would like to do then. True, how money they make also depends on the state they live in though. But yeah they don't really make that much compared to other psychologists, especially those with Ph.D's. Have you thought about maybe, a psychiatrist? For now I would recommend taking a lot of Psych classes and seeing which one piques your interest the most. I just finished my 2nd year and I barely found what I would like to do until just recently when I took a Social Psych and a Research Methods in Pysch class this year.

Welcome to MAL! ^-^ I've been new for about a month, and I had trouble getting the ropes of it too. If you want any help, you can add me and PM me or join this club that I joined when I first came here called the Newbie Club.

Hi there! Thank you n.n
That's great! What year are you in? Have you tried looking up what you could do with a degree in Psychology? Psychology is such a broad major, there's always so many options. I plan to do research in either academic performance, neuropsych, or social psychology :) So I looked up the employment outlook for Psychologists and it seems there will be a 19% growth so no need to worry about the demand. Just do something that you will enjoy and that you feel motivated to do. The thing is that a Bachelor's is no longer enough, you might have to get a Master's or a Ph.D/ Psy.D in order to find employment. Since there are so many psychology majors, it may be a little competitive but then again there are many employment options as well. Hope this helped, a little! :)

No problem! What is your name btw?
