I am guessing you are 3 sisters and you are the oldest one?If so,then we are the same.My younger sister also watched Sailor Moon together with me when we were growing up but as yours,she is mostly indifferent.The same with my youngest sister xD I am guessing though,when I buy manga and anime they would sit and read/watch them together with me.When there is anime/manga they don't refuse but they also don't demand it unlike me.
About Inuyasha..I “was” really prejudiced towards it because of Inuyasha’s ears xD I thought it was another romance manga with ear fetish =P Don't ask me how I reached that conclusion,at that time I was always coming across that kind of manga for some reason =P And I don’t know about you but I don’t understand that kind of fetishs.Like,some people think that characters look attractive,hot,sexy whatever when they have ears,tails,paws etc.Why?Do you know?On the contrary,I find those a real turn-off xD But recently,I came across that manga in the library here and gave it a chance and was pleasantly surprised.

Yeah,English is my second language.My mother language is Turkish.I live in Turkey ;) And I was right about you living in USA.Your college period and the fact that you can find manga in bookstores lead me to think that way.I can speak only 2 languages right now but I also started to take Spanish and French lessons here and think of continuing them in Turkey.At least one of them;most probably Spanish since it is more worldwide and easier to learn(because sentence structure etc is similar to Turkish).French is reaaaaally hard.No matter how hard I try I can’t pronuounce some words.But the fact that we can’t pronounce and still try and say some silly words makes it more fun to study xD Maybe you are not bad about learning language but since you can’t find any place/time to practice it you can’t learn it.Because everyone talks English online so you don’t need to speak anything else.How is Alabama?I only heard the name;don’t know much about it.Do you enjoy living there?
I am the exact opposite of you in that area.I am VERY into something when I love it.I just overdo it unfortunately.For example,I have read all HP books at least 20 times,watched the movies at least 6-7 times and I was spending nearly all my time on pc about Harry Potter.You know; fanfictions, discussions, theories etc.I was really into Rupert Grint too(You know the boy who plays Ron Weasley?I was a massive fan xD )So,my parents are right when they try to limit my likes.Because they know I can overdo it again xD In fact,I probably am doing it right now but since I am far away from home,they don’t know.One of the reasons why I wanna go home is because my life will have a system again.

Only saw Vienna,Budapest,Dresden(a city in Germany),Prague and Liberec.We (me and my roommates) were planning to go and see Spain and Italy together but today they told me they gave up the idea because it is expensive(which is half true half wrong-I mean of course 200 euros is a lot of money but we will see 3 countries with this money for God’s sake,what were they waiting?A free transportation?And the bad sides are now I need to travel alone ( I know dangerous but I am still gonna do it =/ ) and since they told me their decision this late,now I have to buy tickets in a more expensive way.If I knew earlier,I would plan the trips in a safer and cheaper way. /end of rant/ Sorry!
Ah,I haven’t told you the memories of my first exam here right?We went to take the exam with the certain idea that it would be only application and not theorem(the way the lesson is you would think the same).Teacher gave us the paper and 4 questions only,2 applications and 2 theorems xD We (especially me) made a lot of noise to the teacher about the way the exam is,so she told the answer of one theorem =P And for the other theorem,she told us to take our notes,get out of the room,memorise it and then come and write it down to the paper xD And I couldn’t rush the exam so I will go and complete the exam later.It has been a week and the teacher is still waiting for me xD I have never experienced something like this before xD I am not happy because I don’t feel like I deserve the mark I am gonna get but whatever.As long as the teacher is okay with that it should be okay,right? =P*trying to relieve herself*
Kare wa Tomodachi is finally finished by the way.I am really disappointed with the way the mangaka finished it.But oh well..It was a nice read.

Sorry for replying late.I had one of my exams and will have one more on Friday.I am gonna die because of lack of sleep >.< I study Maths.Also thinking of studying Medicine after this.But it can turn into an unlikely dream because my family is in need of money right now(well,lots of families are,in this day and age) so I should start working as soon as possible.Though one of the other main reasons why I would like to earn money is because I wanna buy all those manga/light novels/anime on Amazon that I am interested in xD My family is a bit against of me watching anime or reading manga and they keep saying "You should grow up already".Even though I protest that there are lots of adult stuff in anime and keep saying I know adult people who also enjoy watching it,they are still not convinced.So there is no way they would let me give my school money for manga/anime xD Mind you though,when there are anime on tv,they "all" sit and watch it with me.My mom is/was a very loyal fan of One piece,Sailor Moon and Detective Conan xD *sighh*Oh well.. =)
"Psychology with a double minor in Human Development and Social Work"Wow,that's GREAT!I always had interest in Psychology and thought I would go and take a look at their lessons too when I started college.But that stayed only as a dream.Since I am sooo lazy to study that I don't even study my lessons(only an hour before the exam is my forte in my country.But since lessons are in English in here I need to look beforehand because translation takes a lot of time.Because of being lazy my marks aren't good but not bad also(Oh,how much I miss high school where you can get the best marks without even studying because everything was application and not theory) and I always had to go to summer school.Well,I don't know why I am telling you these..Lol,they are certainly not the things one can be proud of.But that's the way it is soo why bother hiding? ;) )That was a one LONG parenthesis xD
For not to forget about them later and taking them to my reading list,I read 1 chapters from the manga you have recommended.I think one of the little differences between your taste and mine is you have got a wider taste about art.That's good for you!And something I remembered is I guess there was a Korean Drama called "The Devil Beside You" which is an adaptation from "The Devil Does Exit".It is very high rated so I am looking forward to reading it with your reccommendation also.
I didn't know that shota-con/loli-con can only mean being childish in apperance sometimes.So I was being prejudiced toward the genre hah?Shame on me.Though I should have figured it out because some were saying Blood Alone is also turning a loli-con manga which I have no objections because of the circumstances.I mean the girl is actually 17 -18 but is just stuck in a child body...I can't say more because I don't wanna spoil in case you wanna read.It's a good manga.I love it.*just checked and saw that you are already reading it xD*
Your reasons of starting reading yaoi manga is something I didn't expect to hear.Not weird though,not at all.I honestly think it is perfectly understandable.I still haven't read that much of a manga to get bored of the same character types but I know the feeling that sometimes when you are reading the manga,you feel like someone is torturing you xD You wanna trow up or something..Or at least I felt that way because of the cheesy,lame actions of the hero/ines.Or the storylines..Uggh >.<
Though the reason why I started reading yaoi is different.Because of my religion,I am not moderate about homosexuality in real life.And before started reading yaoi etc I was definitely against it even in manga/books too.I thought/think it makes it easier to turn people into homosexual or at least makes it easier to accept the idea of homosexuality.I don't know what you think of this,you can say everyone has the right to be whatever/however they wanna be and it is not a problem if someone falls in love with someone from the same sex.And you can think so too of course.Just because you think like that doesn't mean I will like you less.It is just an opinion of you of course and I respect it and leave it at that.Because I have got online "gay" friends(mainly from my previous fandom Harry Potter-do you like it by the way?) I absolutely love and respect more than lots of other people.It's just a another characteristic of them.I value it like that at least.Anyway to make it short ... xD I was really prejudiced towards yaoi and had a discussion with a friend of mine.After that I thought and decided that I shouldn't argue against something before having a look at it myself."Don't judge the book from the cover" they say.Then I challenged myself if I will be able to read yaoi and made a long search.Then I decided on Doushitemo Furetakunai.What an amazing choice it was,I understood later.If I started with something like,say,"Making love like newlyweds" or "Homura" or etc,I would most probably throw up and close the page if you excuse me to say it.And I tried also reading hentai and incest with the same reasons.One chapter was enough to say farewell to them.Hentai...OMG!What a gross thing it really is D: I can't even stand the idea of yuri/shoujo-ai.I think it is because I am a girl.Because boys generally like yuri but can't stand the idea of yaoi xD
Which country are you from by the way?I am guessing something but don't know if I am right =) The reason I am asking this is because I don't know if you have read the huge text on my profile but I am an Erasmus exchange student right now in Europe and I thought I could ask you advice if you live in a Europen country.About where to go,what to do/eat/buy and stuff you know what I mean?

Before getting onto Cherry Juice..I forgot to mention in my previous posts that I love your new profile photo.Which manga is it from?
And also about Akagami..I started reading the chapters which are after 15 and I went totally "Kyaaa ~~ <3" when Obi won that fight and gave Shirayuki that hair bauble and also when he came to Shirayuki’s window <3 And when he fought with Zen to be escort of Shirayuki etc etc.And let me give you a present : http://www.mangapark.com/manga/Akagami-no-Shirayukihime.html Ta-daa! Chapter 21 and 22 are there!The new arc is going good.It's full of Obi and Shirayuki,these chapters are =D So you might like them =D And you are right.Prince Raji feels something for Shirayuki ever since he got sick and Shirayuki helped her.Their encounter that time totally affected Raji.Well,it is impossible not to fall in love with Shirayuki.If I was a boy... =D But you are right,he totally doesn't stand a chance.But Obi has great potential.He is adorable =D I also love prince Izana.I know that he is right now standing in front of Zen and Shirayuki but if you look at it from his perspective,he is right.Plus,he didn't do something studip so far.Zen was saying Izana doesn't have any close relationship with anyone and doesn't care about others much but it is soo obvious that he loves Zen a lot.He is quite good-looking too.Every character in this manga are good-loking xD Oh,and when I said Kiharu I meant the girl with the bird.Remember her?
About Cherry Juice.I agree about the siblings being annoying xD My favourite characters were definitely the side characters: Otome's best friends Naru and Aiko and the siblings' grandmother was funny from time to time xD.Rather than romance I liked the comedy side of it.The art of it doesn't bother me one bit but I can't say I am a fan of it either.(whispers:"I am quite picky when it comes to art too.")The reason why I recommended it to you was because here Otome and Minami are siblings but not actually just like Jinya and Mao are uncle and niece but not actually.They are relatives but not blood-related,see what I mean? ;) And Minami fell in love at first sight.And Jinya and Mao fell in love at first sight.So I thought they were similar and since you liked that one I thought you may like this one too ;)
You should thank your roommate.This site is really practical to manage what you are reading/watching and plan-to-read lists and the like are really useful.I also love reading discussions,recommendations,news and reviews.I too heard about this site from a friend and I can't thank him enough.And are you lucky to have a roommate who is interested in anime/manga or what?So happy for you =)

Oh about Akagami ... There is something I wanna ask you.Where did you read the other 5 chapters?I mean the only online chapters I could find was up to 15.Obiiiii <3 He is a total sweetheart.If I wasn't in love with Zen and if Zen wasn't that much of a great match for Shirayuki,then I would totally root for him.He is really so sweet and as you said interesting.I can add even mysterious to this too.I also love Mitsuhide and Kiki.My second favourite couple in this manga =D Can't wait to read the next chapters ^.^ By the way..I feel like that Kiharu girl will play the role of Shirayuki's rival in love.I hope I am wrong though.Because Zen and Shirayuki's relationship is so soothing,so peaceful that I want it to continue like that forever =)
Oh,about Gakuen Alice...and also Kaichou wa Maid-sama..There are rumours that they will be finished soon so I think it is best to take your time with them since you are already behind.Once they are all finished I can tell you and you can make a marathon reading =)
It has been a long time since I've read Koukou debut and it was one of the first manga I've ever read so I may be biased towards it.But i like it.There is a scene I remember frequently.A scene which is beautiful ;)
About Cherry Juice.I usually don't recommend it specially to someone but since I am reading Ai Hime and you liked it I thought you can like that one too.I mean,it is not one of my favourites but it is good =)
Koko ni Iru yo! makes me mad every time I remember it.But not because it is bad.I think you will understand when you finish it xD *the couple I was supporting didn't happen that's why =P *
Basara is something I have heard for the first time when you mentioned it and that's quite surprising because I see that it is really high rated.I am gonna add it to my plan to read list right away.
The biggest dissapointments that I've read in those days were Tenjou Tenge and GE ~Good Ending~ .If you come across them then I recommend you to think twice ;)

About Lovely Complex..I watched the anime and I lmao'ed most of the time.Especially episode 6 killed me from laughing if I don't remember wrong.The best thing about LoveCom though that I was able to relate myself to Risa most of the time.I wanna read the manga too..After these exams of mine finish I will start it :) About Ai Hime..I still haven't finished it so I can't comment fairly ;) For the last 2 days I was stuck with reading Tenjou Tenge and completed it in 2 days.Not that it is a very good series though.I skimmed some parts.There were a lot of nonsense sometimes xD And a bit too much sexual stuff for my liking >.<
Ooh,forgot to say that there is a problem with your plan to read list.It shows "0 entries".
I need to sleep in 30 minutes so can't write much longer.I have got some more recommendations so I will write them finally:By Hero(one shot),Cherry Juice,Dear Green(one shot),Hotel(one shot),maybe Koukou Debut,Gimmick(one shot shounen ai),Shinkuu Yuusetsu(7 chapters shounen ai),Gokuaku Drop(one shot),Koko ni Iru yo!,Paradise Kiss and Tom Sawyer.Mind you,not all of them are perfect but they are certainly nice reads =)

I just noticed how many "amazing"s I've used in the previous comment when I was describing Pandora Hearts xD Sorry about that :)
I wanna continue with Hayate no Gotoku.A ""hilarious"" one.Every chapter is approximately 15 pages.I think it is a once in a week or twice in a month manga.There are lots kinds of characters so I am sure you are bound to love at least 3-4.The pace gets slower sometimes but it really is great!The new arc is also very promising ;) I laugh a lot when I read this =D
Akagami no Shirayuki Hime..Now now..That's what I call a manga with strong points.Characters are cool and firm.(Zen is flawless for me*is in love*)Art is one I admire.The story is reaaaally enjoyable.And it has good messages to give.When I think about it,the thing that sells a story is mainly characters.And all the ones I recommend to you have great ones.And you will like the romance in this one =)
Dear My Girls..Inspired by Little Women.It is a manhwa but surprisingly it has an amazing art :P .It is really a funny one.I love nearly all the characters.Beth (the heroine) is soo funny and outspoken.A bit dense mind you but not annoyingly.(You know in LovCom I was sometimes going hysteric with Otani xD Not that I don't like him,on the contrary I really love him but he is just a bit too much sometimes xD )
Beast Master is a must.Have you read it?
I would recommend you 3 Gatsu no Lion too but the updates are slow :( When it is finished i will let you know-though it is an on-going manga so it will take a lot of time xD )
Kaichou wa Maid-sama.Romaantiiiic <3 Usui the main hero is also extremely hot.Has some hilarious characters xD Give it a shot =D
Kare wa Tomodachi is something I discovered recently.I think you would like it too.Not something so different from our oh-so-lovely shoujo's but there is something in it that attracts me.I don't know exactly what but..I like the characters.One of them I totally hate.I think the thing that makes me like this is the realness of the story.Yep,I decided now.It is the reality of the situation.
Faster Than a Kiss and Chocolate Cosmos are lovely ones if you can read theacher/student relationship.I totally love both of them.

Yep,I have got loads of things to recommend since I can't see your anime/manga list.But first...you read Doushitemo Furetakunai? O.O Yaaay!Tell me please what you think about it =)
And now recommendations..Of course first is the amazing,gorgeous(the art <3 ),great manga Pandora Hearts.It is amazing.My top favourite.Characters are soo loveable,amazing,interesting and 3-D.The story is amazing.It is kind of inspired by Alice in Wonderland(I mean there are references a lot) but it is still entirely original.How does it manage to success that?I have no idea.It is just the feeling you can understand by reading I guess.The art is amazing too.I just really can't stress enough how amazing it is.And you most probably are reading it too.But if not,forget my lousy explanation and believe my taste :P It is still on-going and we never can wait for the next chapter.Ah,and the story gets darker but I think it is not something you can't stand.
Second is Strobe Edge.Right now the scan teams are I guess being a bit lazy.But I think that's a lovely shoujo.What I really like about this manga is awesome heroine Ninako.I mean,she is so sweet,so innocent and also so mature.Not clingy,not bitchy..A lovely girl.A fun girl to be with and also has a great heart.The story is getting more real and real.You will see some character twists.You are gonna get surprised.You are gonna scream "baka" or loser to some characters sometimes etc etc.Because they are young and they make mistakes you know.I think you should give it a shot.There are of course great-looking characters.For example Ren-kun.He is portrayed like your everyday-shoujo mister perfect bishie but you later see it is not like that at all.You may be reading this too and if so,let's discuss? :)
Gakuen Alice is something I can cavalierly recommend.It is hilarious.There is action and sometimes mystery.I love the characters*points at her favourite character list*There is romance.It is amazing and I can tell lots more but I need to give the pc back right now :(
