That was expected. Jiraya went too far in his research at that time and to be honest I shed some tears when he was drowning saying his last words with one arm destroyed. :(

Yeah I knew that the very first time I saw Marco, that voice is just too easy to remember after listening to Ichigo speeches so much in bleach..lol
Haha..seriously!! I do have more favorites so that if I had to say more they would be Whitebeard, Marco, Boa, Sanji and Robin.
Yeah Ace death shortly followed by whitebeard which was really sad to see 2 major deaths in less than 5 episodes. :(
But that's to say that good people can not always win, there must be twists. Like Jiraya's death vs pain.

it's okay, i love one piece too. havent watched the anime in a bit but I always keep up with its manga. i can't believe it's only halfway through... lol another 10 years to go.
what was your favorite arc so far? i'd say mine is the one with ace. it was really sad, but I liked it alot at the same time. I can't believe they let him die, i thought they werent going to let main characters like him die? well more or less a really important character imo.
