Because only half of the show is about Amu and the main plot. The other half are little short animated skits about Amu's Charas doing lame shit. and its hosted by girls cosplaying as Ran, Miki, and Suu. It was seriously crap.

The second season of Haruhi is REALLY terrible. The last 3 episodes have been the exact same. And I'm not exaggerating. Unless something new happens in episode 5 I'm gonna drop it. I suggest you not start the show though.
