Yes I'm looking forward to what's to come. I've even bought the first few volumes of the manga for when I finish the anime. The thing I like the most about the series is just is overall aesthetic really. It has the world building of LOTR, the brutality of Doom and the bleakness of 40K. Progress is gonna be slow though, second year of university recently started and fucking hell, they aren't holding back with the workload.

Watched the first 3 episodes and I'm currently loving it. They're really not holding back with the violence in the fight scenes which seems to be very rare nowadays. Griffith is also a great antagonist. There's nothing more threatening than someone that's an evil bastard but no one else can see it because they're too blinded by their charisma.

Think I might give it a try then. Outside of psychological thrillers, fantasy has got to be my favourite genre. LOTR is my favourite piece of fiction ever written along with the fact it's probably the most influential. Berserk was also the inspiration for Dark Souls which is my favourite game series.

Hmm sounds interesting. Also have you read/watched Berserk? I've not heard one bad thing about it and the only reason why I haven't started reading it yet is because the manga seems quite long. Maybe I should watch the 1997 series first?

Ah seems you have a similar taste to me though the only ones of that genre I've really read/watched are Monster and Death Note. What similar anime would you recommend the most? Rn I'm considering watching Parasyte and Psycho Pass.

Sure, what kind of shows do you like the most? Action, thriller, shitty LN adaptations, slice of life, etc? It doesn't seem as if you've watched a lot so I'm assuming you just haven't updated your profile.

Well I don't mind if something is referenced or put as example but when we have in Anime Discussion a question, like last time was something about Attack on Titan only question. For such stuff we have Discussion for every anime entry and AOT has it's own Discussion, when I am going into AD I'd like to see discussion about anime where people can reference their own shows which are related to topic, instead of asking if the Characters from this particular show should do this or this, such topics are for series/that specific title discussions, at least that's how I see it.

Which is why you could see me in few threads being already tired of people moaning about Lycoris, missing that it is not the only seasonal and if someone is having problems with it, just go to Lycoris Recoil Discussions instead of spamming AD's section x)

I guess you're commenting based on what I do expect from Anime Discussion threads as I've encountered 2-3 of your threads and can't recall if I answered on every of them or only this one.
