When someone first recommend it to me i was sceptical too and i put it on hold for a while, when i finally decide to give it a try i loved it. it's such a great anime because from the very start the protagonist is great at what he does and his not a moron like in other sports or shonen anime where they gradually become stronger.
i think what is most appealing about it at least for me is the personality of ryoma he is really confident and great at tennis.
i recommend you to watch the first episode it will give you a clear idea of what the show is about. i got hooked since episode 1 :)

May i ask you a question what are you thoughts on the anime named Naruto: Shippuuden .
how did you like and why or why not. no reason for asking this just curious about how you feel please respond if you want ok. also if you want to ask me a question look at my anime list and ask about one i am watching or have already seen and ask about if i like one or not if you want.
