The short: A rougue Ninja from the country of the Wind, Mukade, is aiming to get a hold of a power by the name Ryuumyaku which is located within the old city of Rouran. It holds an incrediable source of energy, and therefore it was sealed by the Fourth Hokage back then. Team Kakashi's mission, is to stop this man and renew the seal. When they encounter the enemy, things doesn't go as smooth as they planned it out to be.

Overall: It's always a BAD idea to make a solely Naruto movie. You have to include the other ninjas, otherwise you would end up with ... a boring movie.
The Naruto universe has so many ninjas with so much to offer - Yet they decided to let Naruto go almost solo on this one.

Verdict: This movie was a disappointment. If you've thought the first movie was boring - You ain't seen nothing yet.

3 = Very bad

The short: Ninjas with Kekkei Genkai begins to disapear from various villages and it turns out that the villain, uses these ninjas inorder to obtain their power. He has caught 3, but missing the last one in order to be fully complete, which would make him a perfect ninja. He casts a jutsu in form of a projectile which is broadcasted through all the villages, claiming that he's from Leaf Village and lay out his plans. This causes disarray with the villages, as they are now targeting Konoha - even sandvillage. While Konoha is at risk of invasion, Kakashi figures out a plan to stop ... this villain, so he quickly moves out, while Naruto and Sakura are on his tail. The Hokage asks Shikamaru to gather a team to get the team kakashi back so Kakashi can execute his plan successfully.

Overall: I actually was in doubt that this was an actual movie. The artwork, the quality, the sound, it all seemed too "normal" to me, like the television episodes. I had to google it for more info, and it turns out that this was in fact a real movie and not just some special or OVA. You can't compare it to the previous titles, and I gotta say that they sure saved a bunch of money on the production with this one.

Verdict: Not as pretty as the second movie, this "movie" is another filler that took a turn to the big screen. The only thing that saved this movie from being bad to average, is that they included all the other characters from the other teams which is always a good thing in a Naruto movie.

5 = Average

The short: So Konoho, home of the greatest ninjas (Legendary sanin, White wolf, Yellow Flash, 1st Hokage etc) proves that it isn't as safe as you'd think it is, dispite of it's reputation. The assault is led by "Sky ninjas" which apparently got destroyed during the second great war. During the attack, our heroes befriend a wandering doctor, whom they later help to escort him to a village in need of help. During this time, Orochimaru sends Sasuke to retrieve this wandering doctor, inorder to recieve a special healing jutsu...

Overall: Let's face it, Naruto doesn't have the most interesting skill set nor the best jutsu, ... and any Naruto fan knows his fighting style (scream-> kage bunshin-> Rasengan -> done)

Verdict: So unlike the first movie, this movie was actually refreshing, thanks to the involvement of the other characters which brought some great combat into play and made it more enjoying.


7/10 = Good

The short: An evil villain along with his group of 4 ninjas, are trying to revive Mouryou, a demon from another world. This demon apparently
controlls an army of soulless warriors which conquered several of countries a long time ago. Konoho must stop these villains now, by sending two teams, one to stop the army (Kakashi and Guy) and the other group (Neji, Lee, Naruto and Sakura) to guard a priestess, which has the only power to stop the demon...

Overall: Cheesy opening, weak plot, I felt like this movie was like a filler that was on it's way to the little screen, but then ... took a wrong turn and ended up on the big screen.
That being said, I couldn't wait until it finished - sadly, but not surprisingly.

Verdict: Well if your a Naruto fan, this movie will peek your interest, but only because it IS a NARUTO movie.
If you dislike fillers, then this shouldn't be a movie that you'd want to see. You won't miss out on anything important nor good for that matter.
If you like fillers, then this will be your cup of tea.

3/10 = Boooring
