Hi, my name is Thomas, but everyone (including my family) calls me T.J. I started watching anime when I was 8 and my cousin introduced me to Ranma 1/2 and Project A-Ko. Both of which are still some of my favorite comedies. By Junior High I thoroughly enjoyed my intense Dragon Ball Z phase. By the last couple years of High School and then into College I broadened my collection to include hundreds of different titles of all genre. Though I watch a lot of anime I don't like to think of myself as an Otaku.
I now live in Kanazawa Japan as a junior high school teacher. Japan kick's a** in ways that no anime fan could have ever guessed.
My favorite animes usually are ones that push the envelope on style. Elfen Lied, Paranoia Agent, and Mushishi are among my favorites. I find myself attracted to anime that brings out strong emotions. Neon Genesis Evangelion, Now & Then Here and There, and Berserk are some of these kinds of anime that come to mind.

Sorry when i read "Story: 10" i couldn't help but laugh elfen lied was good but the story was laughable it was basically violence, gore, and naked loli fanservice the anime.
well that's how i felt about it anyways

wow, like me you had a large DBZ phase and you have watched and to almost the same extent enjoyed a lot of the same anime as myself.Elfen Lied, Paranoia Agent, and Mushishi are among my favorites as well. i love emotion and thought provoking anime. please tell me any recommendations you may have for me.

Too bad you're not getting any of the free manga then :P(assuming you read mal news) I see you're watching Kanon atm.. I hope you're ready for some seriously moving stuff, i can only recommend it (finished it yesterday, watched all 24 episodes in 1 day, and it's now one of my favorites)
