This year Sailor Moon Crystal has covered the first arc of the series (Queen Beryl and the Dark Kingdom). Next month that will be over and they will begin the next arc with the Black Moon Clan. Sorry for recommending so many titles at once, I didn't realize until I looked at my comment that eight recommendations at once might be a bit much. Don't want to overwhelm you with a Giant List of List of Doom, I just get overly enthusiastic when it comes to really enjoyable anime! ^_^
Welcome to the wonderful world of anime! Since you like Sailor Moon, you might like some other great shoujo titles like "Kodocha", "Fushigi Yuugi", "Fruits Basket" and "Yona of the Dawn". The last is a brand-new series that just started airing in Japan three months ago. All of these are really great and I recommend them to every Sailor Moon fan. I also personally recommend "Azumanga Daioh", "Natsume's Book of Friends" and the animated movies by Studio Ghibli. (Princess Mononoke is my personal Ghibli favorite) Oh, and if you like cats watch Poyopoyo! Poyopoyo episodes are only three minutes long, but very cute and funny!
