Dunno, some time ago there was an anegdote as there was almost no snow at streets : what's the first sign of upcoming Christmas ? Coca-cola truck on TV :P. Maybe family gatherings have some purpose, but gosh...not like this : Ok, listen there is xyz holiday : family gathering time -_-. I guess we share the same view on this topic ^^'.
If you ask me I haven't seen any pig here in Cracow xP. I own a pet : cat, but he barely goes out as we live at 10th floor, so he most likely won't catch this flu. What's worse northern part of my city has no heating or hot water today due to emergency : break of the pipe -_-.

So you celebrated it in old school way :). Here, in Poland I don't see any symptoms of panic connected with swine fly, despite the news that it's present in our neighbour : Ukraine. I don't give a damn about it as I was vaccinated against the flu(normal one, not the swine flu) it 1,5 months ago. It's quite cold outside (temperature varies from -5 to 15 C ), so try to stay at home as much as I can :3.
Well, All Saint's Day is much about nostalgic mood, so go from one cemetery to another and do some prayers for your ancestors. It's a day for family gatherings and stuff like that which is why I don't go for it much :/. to be honest all family gatherings tire me as I treasure my privacy -_-.
