We performed "Winter" from The Four Seasons by Vivaldi, and a bunch of other stuff, mostly with the choir and/or the combined orchestras. All done though. Oh, I meant that I play violin in the string orchestra. XD

Wait, aren't you a big nerd, why no fun in a biochem project. :P Basically I stuck stuff in cells to see how much they died (how well they lived despite increasing concentrations of a certain potential anticancer agent). And then I shot lasers at em to see what happens (it ought to activate the molecule, and kill even more of the model cancer cells, but not the normal cells). Used a couple wild type yeast strains, and one mutant strain. Got more work to do with them next semester though. But doesn't it sound fun? :D

Kinda surprised you got into law though... I half expected you to go into science/engineering/etc anyways. XD Oops. And no, no thanks. I can deal without saliva spitting contests. XD

You know. Some good news. I had applied to 6 Ph.D. programs, and over the past few days 2 of em have replied back with invitations to interview/visit... with hotel, food and transportation paid by each school!! :D One of the schools is pretty close by so I can drive there, so transportation I can drive myself... but the other is in Texas, so halfway across the country... means a free trip even if I mess up the interview and get rejected in the end!! XD Though of course I'll take it seriously and do my best! So excited... and also nervous! Nervous about these interviews, and the other schools I applied to... fingers crossed!

Madan no Ou is fanservice mixed with old dynasty battle, people who don't like a lot of fanservice might hate this :D I hardly read but once I do, I will get into the groove immediately :)

Yeah :D What you up to lately? Started your own business or something right? :O And are you still in uni at all? And you must watch Barakamon okay? ♥ And yeah, I have three weeks (well, slightly less since my school christmas concerts ran late D:) off for christmas/new year's break. The break is in between semesters (so I'm done with finals too). Just one more semester, and I'm all set to graduate uni in May 2015! :D And I also just finished all my grad school apps, literally minutes before heading to my last concert. XD We'll see what happens, hopefully they reply favorably (and with funding too!). My senior research project in biochem/bioinorganic chem is terribly fun, even though it's a ton of work, too, so glad to have found something interesting and useful... :)

Nope, I'm behind on everything, was a really tough semester :(
I have Shigatsu on plan to watch though, and been downloading eps periodically :) just never got around to it so far xD thanks for the recs!

Cross Ange is better than expected but it's got derailed by excessive fanservice and yuri action >.< that series has potential to be good but it feels like the producer want it to be negatively received on purpose :(

Madan no Ou is another interesting one, I like their strategy in combat, makes watching so much more entertaining when you know what is really going on :)
