Wah, I don't know 75 percent of the dramas you listed, but I am familiar with Gokusen and Densha Otoko (reading the manga of it). Although it's quite odd that those "Jansport Backpack-loving people" hardly have any books/stuff to put in their measly bookbags. You know, they put it high up their backs? - makes me want kick their asses >:-) Unfortunately, I have to carry my Geometry and English books to class. Speaking of Geometry, I forgot to pick up my homework chart when my teacher passed it to our group. I hope that the one who had it is responsible enough. >_> Jeez, how did you survive those AP courses? xDD Don't worry; she's actually a close friend of mine, and her mother is agreeable and pleasant. :D Shoot, I have to build up my endurance, since I practically didn't do anything productive this summer. Kudos for you; I told you that you should have participated in Beijing '08 or Ninja Warrior. xDD Well, I have PE first period, so it's a little cold (yay, no sun >_>) Do you notice that you sweat a lot when you finally stop for a while? That is what I hate; since we have only 40 minute class, I have to quickly change to my usual attire while trying to cool off. One time, while I was changing, I bumped a locker and it hurt terribly since it was my head. O.o I wouldn't be suprised if I have a blood clot or something... I am not in any clubs/competitions yet because I don't exactly know many people in my school. (Juggling school work and extracurricular activities are impossible.) Besides, most sport coaches won't accept freshmen. The only exception is "if a person is good enough". Upperclassmen are a little bit smug. Some douchebags pointed at us while waiting in line (The Marines actually came to school to enlist people who were 16 yrs and up) to get a souvenir, saying "Oh, a freshman. How do you know? oooh, another freshman!?" Jeez, some people need to get some tact. If they are going to humiliate my friends and I, at least don't do it within our earshot. >_> Aah, soccer. Good times. xD I sprained my knee while tripping multiple times on the field, so I feel the pain of your roommate. Our class had a free day today on PE since my teacher is planning on a cruise for 4 days. I played basketball with my sister (same classes; that's what I get from having a twin) but I guess I was one who was really "serious" about the game. It was actually 2 on 7, meaning the girls were the majority. Sadly, when the group clustered to the other sports (soccer/football) one of the opponents was actually tall. I tried my best, but it seems like I'm terrible at blocking. D: Academic subjects is a top priority to me too (a reason why I always get easily depressed at school); though I am worried that if I applied to a renowned college like Princeton or UC, they won't likely accept me since my club activities are zilch. I've never heard of office volleyball. What exactly is it? Have you ever heard of a "superbug"? This is probably an old news for you, but be cautious when you're working out. ^^ I heard that Crunchyroll is actually making some bucks by uploading anime episode. This is actually outrageous if this claim is actually correct. I guess it's the same situation when the movie called "Snakes on a Plane" was ripped off days before it's actually premiere. (Haha, if you have time, watch the movie for some major LOL-ing xD) Obviously, it didn't have a lot of ratings like when the premiere of Death Note in Adult Swim. :/ Do you watch any Asian dramas? I have this special Korean channel in my cable. I'm pretty sure the series was adapted from a mahnwa or manga, though the title slipped through my mind. (Gah, I read it from Manga Updates...) I used to watch the re-runs of Detective Conan a few years ago in Adult Swim (on 5:00am >_>) so some of the cases are pretty familiar. (Besides, I currently have Volumes 1, 8, and 11.) I need to expand my manga collection because I have countless of shoujo titles. I'm actually up to date in Hellsing, and I can't wait for Volumes 9 and 10. -cough, cough- Jeez, that scene is like embedded in my mind. xD In any case, seeing that Berserk is your fave manga, is it similar to arcs like Hunter x Hunter? (His name is Gutts right?) I'm still stuck on Chapter 1, so any tidbit facts or backgrounds is greatly appreciated. :D Does he have a particular goal? I will check out those titles you recommended. ^^ Wait, Urasawa, who created 20th Century Boys, was the one who made Monster? Holy crap, I didn't realize that until you pointed that out. xD My sister is also currently reading Shin Angyo Onshi, so I might consider that when I have time. As for Jack Frost, though I'm an avid mystery/horror manga fan, the cover scared the hell out of me. O_O I don't know if you have updated your manga lists from other sites, but I recently discovered "Dangu". I think their voices are minutely similar. Actually, I consulted my sister first about Azamaru (she completed it already) and she responded that it was "good, you should read it". Corn is great too! :3 Everytime I cook something - it's either raw or burnt. I can't even make a decent pancake. >_> It's difficult to flip it using a spatula. Lol, is that a family recipe? You can send me the ingredients. If it's not sweet, I'll just mix more than 2 packets of Splenda. xD Whee, a water buffalo?? Sweet, I haven't seen that one in real life. O.O We didn't actually went to Alaska; it just that the place where the elavation was more than 9,800 feet and it was freaking cold, I thought I can't feel my feet trembling. Well, the main attraction was we rode by Manzanar [You know, the concentration camp for the Japanese-Americans...] I read the book of it and I think the name of the author is Jeanne Houston... And we had this "horse back ride" shenanigan: my horse actually went beserk because he overtaked some of the horses twice; if my mom wasn't there, I'll probably jumped off the stream...with a possibility of a broken bone. >_< Reply - Anime - Manga
