Things have been going alright. I've still been pretty busy at work too, so I haven't had as much time for this site. Also because I've been spending more time on non-anime interests. (Like reading. REAL BOOKS. Not the picture kind. XD)

I see. I actually didn't think the first episode of it was too bad, it was when the first half of the second episode threw every cliche fanservice scene in the book at me that I quickly gave up on it. XD

The Mahoraba manga so far seems to be moving faster than the anime did. But maybe that's just my perception of it now, as it's been over three years since I last watched the anime. I'm also saddened that the whole thing with Shiratori's story isn't in the manga at all so far, since that was one of my favorite parts of the anime.

Work is pretty exhausting. I'm currently taking over temporarily for a coworker who's on maternity leave in addition to what I was doing before, so I've got a lot on my plate. I do need the money, but I won't be completely upset about it when she comes back.

I've been alright. I'm working more now after my hours at work had been down for a while. Good for my wallet, bad for my free time haha.

As far as the not current stuff, I've been watching Planetes. It's not quite what I was expected when I started it, but nonetheless I'm enjoying it. From the current season, I'd say Another is the best show so far. The atmosphere is really creepy and well done. I've also started reading the Mahoraba manga, which I'd been meaning to do for a long time, but I wasn't reading much manga at all. XD

I see. Maybe I should, then it's just who to ask. So many of the cosplayers I know have their cosplays planned out so far in advance of cons, they don't really have room for more. >_>

I haven't been up to much exciting. XD Watching anime as usual, and started playing Skyrim too. Also been trying to figure out con plans for this year.

I agree, that definitely is odd. I'm not a fan of tattoos at all, but even if I did get one, I'd want it to be something more permanent and meaningful than for an interest like anime. Interests can change over time and you may not still like it 10 years later. I imagine if I had gotten a tattoo 10 years ago it would have been Dragon Ball Z since that's what I was into at the time, but if I had a DBZ tattoo now... I might cut off my whole arm just to get rid of it. <_<

Yeah, it was pretty nice, if a bit boring. XD My grandfather's house is much farther from civilization than here, so there's not much to do, not to mention no Internet. How did yours turn out?

I do have female friends who cosplay, but I don't know that they'd want to do those outfits, or cosplay with me. Or maybe it's just that I'm too afraid to ask haha.

Nice, you have a lot more Nendoroids than I do. I also have Madoka and BRS, and then I have Rin and Len ones. That's it.

No problems so far. My brother's mostly been sleeping since he got here, apparently exhausted after just finishing exams (or maybe too much partying, who knows XD).

Yeah, I'll be going to Michigan where my grandfather is. It'll just be a small gathering (me, my mom, brother, and grandfather), but that's still nice.

That's one bad thing about smaller cons. Though personally I don't go for the guests, so that's not a big deal to me. I've only been to three myself. Anime Central, the really big one for the midwest, was my first back in May, and I've been to two other smaller Chicago area cons since.

Cosplay, hmmm... Himura Yuu from ef is one that came to mind, mostly because that outfit would be really easy. XD Though I don't know if I'd want to do that unless I had a Yuuko to go with me. Maybe Len also, but the same thing with wanting a Rin partner. My favorite cosplay idea would probably the Prince from Shiratori's story in Mahoraba (who's in my icon right now), because I love the characters and also because of the relative obscurity of Mahoraba (anyone who recognized it could be my new best friend haha). That one would be really expensive to have made though, and again, it would be so much better if I had a Princess Umeboshi to go with me. DX Bah, all my ideas are couple cosplays...

Aha, which Nendoroids? I have a few of those myself. :D

Yeah, Hetalia seems to bring out the craziest fans. Like one person who I saw insisting that every Germany cosplay must include the swastika on it and that ones that didn't have it weren't real Hetalia cosplay, seemingly not caring about how controversial that would be.

Ohhhh whoops, I see. XD At first when you said Fail Geass I thought you were taking a shot at the anime, not the cosplayers. No, I haven't seen it. You're not the first person to tell me I should, though. Maybe I will watch it... eventually. =P

I haven't seen too many cosplayers like that at conventions, thankfully. The first that comes to mind is a Man-Panty that I saw at Kollision Con last month. XD Which cons are the ones you go to?

We do business law. It's a lot of stuff from a business management perspective like incorporating businesses, drafting and managing business contracts, filing trademarks, etc. In the rare event that one of our clients has to go to court, we have another firm we work with that handles that.

Maybe it's not as popular where you are or something, but at the cons I've been to there have been Hetalia cosplayers EVERYWHERE. They're some of the most rabid fans, too. >_> I haven't seen Code Geass though. Is it bad?

No, I haven't cosplayed. I might like to some day, but I'm so terribly shy irl that I don't know if I'd be any good at it. ><

Yeah you're right, she doesn't sound like a pleasant person. Makes you wonder what someone would see in her.

It's alright, I suppose. It can be very frustrating sometimes because my boss is a stickler about every little thing being done her way, even though her way doesn't always make sense. >_> We don't go to court or anything like that though 'cause we don't practice that type of law.
